you recreate the heat pretty much wherever lebron goes. he's that good. the bulls in order to create a heat/whereverlebrongoes killer need another scorer. lebron is a better player than he was in cleveland and he almost one with a team full of dopes.

Lebron replaces Kobe in LA when he opts out in a year or two. It would be funny if he headed back to Cleveland, teamed up with Irving, and had Woodson as his coach again.

Miami is a pretty big stage. They are on the same level marketing wise as NY, Chicago and LA.

Agree to disagree. I am with bballfan84 on this one. The dude seems desperate for approval and attention. The Lakers & Knicks are the obvious choices to earn it.

He is very desperate for approval. Switching teams again won't help with that.

Of course he's not doing to bad for a guy with just a high school education :D

Maybe the Warriors are just better than the Spurs. David Lee is moving dangerously close to Ewing Theory proof land.

Miami doesnt hold a candle to LA NY or Chicago. I was thinking during the first two games in Heat vs Bulls series that Miami has one of the worst fan bases ever. Minute to go in game 1 not one person in that place was standing. In game 2 the place was empty at tipoff and it took til the 2nd quarter for the place to look full. Do you know how many cities would kill for a team like that. Miami not big enough for Lebron

San Antonio vs. Memphis and Miami vs. Indiana for a spot in the finals. I went 4-0 in the second round, so hopefully my streak continues. I'm going with Memphis vs. Miami for the Championship with Miami winning the Championship.

Cannot believe that the Cavs got #1 again, maybe Charlotte should find a nerdy kid to represent them in the future so they can get #1!

The best news of the day was MJ bringing the Hornet name back to Charlotte, very excited about a decade long wrong being righted! :clapping Never the biggest Jordan fan (as a Tar Heel, pro, or owner) but this is a good move for the franchise. Bringing back the Hornet name will rejuvenate the franchise for the fans and hopefully draw better FA's to the team.

It's Charlotte. Call them whatever name you want, but it's still Charlotte. Better FA's aren't going to come because of a name change. Only way their fortunes will improve is if they somehow manage to draft a superstar and get rid of Jordan. Jordan getting the name change back to the Hornets is about the only positive thing he has done for that franchise.

He had to do something to make fans excited because the bobcats don't look to be too excited on the court anytime soon.

Les Wizerables quietly sneak into the #3 draft spot and early speculation is Otto Porter Jr. staying in his college home arena to line up next to Wall and Beal for the next few years.

The big question is will whoever drafts Nerlens Noel sit him all year to recover (even though he is on track to be able to return to play in December) so they can tank the season for what is expected to be a loaded draft in 2014?

I think they probably will (and should) because they could get a better shot at Wiggins next year. Imagine Noel, Wiggins and Irving on the same team. That would probably be more than enough to draw Lebron back to Cleveland. The only issue would be not having enough shots to go around.

Well, the Heat are making it work with three alpha males. Cleveland with LeBron, Irving, and Wiggins would be two proven alpha males on the NBA level and another potential one. Even if Cleveland doesn't get Wiggins next year, they'll still get a likely pretty darn good player rather it be Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, etc.

I'd love to see them gamble and trade the pick. If you want a project big man that can at least give you some time go after the kid from Maryland. I say trade it for 2 first rounders, preferably this year, but splitting would fine, some 2nd rounders and change. Cleveland wants back in the play offs next year, and IMO, Noel isn't getting them there. Trading the pick, getting the kid from Maryland another first rounder and a 'fill the need' veteran would.
Plus, UK big men don't have a great reputation in the league.

Alex Len wasn't that good at Maryland (12 and 8 in 26 minutes as a sophomore in a weak ACC) and is dealing with ankle problems already. I'm not sure I would take any of the top big men this year in the lottery except maybe Noel and stash him on IR for a season.

Oh he's a project, no doubt about it, but I love his upside and how quickly he picks things up. This way you don't gamble an over all #1 on a weak big man class but can still get one with a lower pick. Cleveland is putting a lot of their franchise on Noel if they take him #1. Take Len 5-10 and you have some wiggle room.
