It's been going on for weeks, plus it's not just me, it's both PC's and Mac's so obviously Liberty or the internet provider is slowing down the Internet to a snail's pace.

Sorry I forgot to add its been going on for weeks.

Have you called anybody? Not trying to be a dick I just hear people complain about similar things in my line of work but don't want to make a simple call to either make us aware or find out what is going on.

:dontgetit
The speed of the internet at LU rises and falls in direct proportion to with the number of cars crammed onto campus; hence, the fewer the cars, the slower the internet... parking is the key, and by trying to cut down on the number of cars on campus, the admin has created a real mess with the internet speeds.

Thank you, jbock. I just made the quick off-hand sarcastic comment because for years I've heard about LU's parking problems and their fast internet. Today, I drove on campus at 8:30- empty lots behind bookstore and Reber-Thomas... and then the slow internet comment... Go figure- just when JLFJR gets the parking dealt with, the internet starts flaking out! Always something!

Ironically enough parking has never been an issue for me. In the past it could have been (but never was), but I enjoy and embrace my mile walk to DeMoss.

Walking is good exercise anyway! Plus most of us baptists need all the exercise we can get.

I think it was probably just a general saying. But at least I didn't need it translated into English... yet.

Will make that building look a lot nicer on that side. At the end of the article it mentions renovations to East Campus. They really need to put another dining hall on that side of the highway, too big of a school for only one. Also wouldn't hurt to have a smaller gym of some sort to spread things out.

Agree with the dinning hall. Having 2 or 3 more would be great. IIRC a food court type thing was in the works over there.
They'll probably get that the same time as the softball field

It is pretty much the same as the previous one with some small changes here and there...the biggest change is the inclusion of a parking garage which will be great as the commuter population grows
