Kentucky
FSU

Kansas

Of course, I am merely guessing. I could have it completely opposite f what it will be for all I know. He's written the manual on how to not let anything leak out.

In all seriousness, Wiggins is the most hyped recruit that I can remember in quite a while.It will be entertaining to see how he plays at the collegiate level.

I am actually pretty interested in it as well. This recruiting class has been awesome this year. I will say following recruiting is one of my favorite things to do and since I am a diehard fan of a high major team its actually fun to follow this stuff. If you are strictly Liberty fan then you will have no interest in this stuff because Liberty will never be associated with this quality of recruits.

The pick is Kansas. A bit surprised there. Reckon he doesn't want to win a national championship like he said he did.

Apparently the choice came down to Kansas and Florida State.

I am just surprised that in a down economy the Kansas folks were able to outbid UK folks. Perhaps Cal is suffering from donor fatigue following the Harrison Twins bidding.

I was going in expecting him to pick anything but Kentucky to temper any disappointment if he didn't Kentucky. UNC and Kentucky made the most sense to me as far as being title threats go. FSU made the least sense to me as they would have accomplished little of significance even with him, but he has the whole family connection deal there.

Kansas will be good of course, but I just don't see them as a legitimate title contender. They've got very little coming back and all the other legitimate title contenders have quality experience back to go with some pretty good incoming players. MSU the only one without a top notch recruit coming in, but they have basically everything back other than Nix so they didn't really need any instant impact recruits. What Kansas has returning isn't all that much better than what Kentucky had coming back for the 2013 season, but this year's HS class is much better than what we got to see this past season in college ball.

Or maybe Self decided to up his bidding after he lost out on Julius Randle?

Sucks to not get Wiggins, but I reckon I can force myself to live with still the best recruiting class of all time

Evan Daniels tweeted earlier than Wiggins had told Self that he'd commit to Kansas if they could land Julius Randle. It seems like he wanted to go there all along, and despite missing on Randle, Kansas gets their man anyway.

Imagine if McLemore came back this season.

Yeah, he told me what happened this afternoon. After hearing about it, I'm curious as to if the NCAA would have investigated Florida State, had Wiggins signed with them.

Honestly though, Kansas is a great choice for him imo. He'll be fantastic.

I've heard rumors about some shady recruiting tactics by the FSU staff, so that would fit in well with the rumors. I've never cared enough about FSU basketball to do anything than a cursory reading on it so not really familiar.
