On a side note I wrote Barber an email and asked if he could make a statement as to where we stand with the Sunbelt. Not a word.

How many more schools is the Sun Belt going to contact? They know we're ready to pull the trigger in 48 hours, and that we'll say yes.

Unless this is all part of some elaborate subterfuge on the part of Liberty and Karl Benson, the SBC commissioner, so Liberty can make a big announcement at graduation - and don't say you weren't thinking it! - I think we ought to consider ourselves persona non grata where the Sun Belt is concerned.

If an announcement is made at graduation, however, I will be a man and eat my slice of humble pie!

The current dollar contribution amounts associated with each Annual Fund membership level have been in place since 2006. After eight years, Liberty University’s enhanced commitment to building a program of national prominence and the growing cost of NCAA Division I athletics necessitates an adjustment of those contribution amounts. Understanding that planning is important to those who desire to support our program, we would like to thank all members who have supported the Flames Club over the past eight years and provide appropriate notice that the contribution amounts for 2014 are projected to be as follows:

Member Level - $60
Eagle Level - $120
Flame Level - $300
Coaches Level - $600
Cornerstone Level - $1,200
Director’s Level - $3,000
President’s Level - $6,000
Scholarship Level - $12,000

APP State Yosef Clubroom (Club Level)

The Yosef Clubroom is provided as a benefit to members at the $1000 Chancellor's level and above. Members at these levels are invited to attend pre-home football and selected home basketball festivities. Refreshments will be available 2.5 hours prior to the game until 30 minutes prior to kickoff or 15 minutes prior to tipoff. Members will be issued Clubroom passes for admission and may bring 2 guests per membership card. The Yosef Clubroom is located in the Quinn Center beside Kidd Brewer Stadium for football and on the concourse in the Holmes Convocation Center for basketball.

We are right in the middle .....

This past year The Yosef Club raised around $2.7 million .... The Flames Club $1.5 million.

I'm sure conference presidents gauge support for a program by looking at these numbers .... as well as the "many other things" we have discussed. Everybody that supports a FBS move should at least be a member. Member, Eagle or Flame is within everyone's reach!!!! GO Flames!!!!
