I'm sure he's as happy as Jets fans. I'm not surprised no team traded for him. After all why give up a pick when you can get him for free.
I have no idea where he fits in, but would love to see Jax finally pull the trigger on him.

VAGolf wrote:Did he actually win? I'll give you that argument in basketball or hockey when you have only 4 other teammates on the court. Or in baseball when you control how every player on the opposing team hits. In football, you have 10 other teammates on the field with you. You can't play both sides of the ball either. Additionally, you have a coach who has say over every single play. No single person in the NFL is doing the winning. Having a W/L column for QB's is stupid. Sure, it's the most important position on a team but what is a QB without 5 guys protecting him? What's a QB without 3 guys to catch the ball? What's a QB without RB's to carry some of the load? What's a QB without direction from the coach? He took the Broncos to the playoffs. Fact. But all the owners are so focused on the fact that he doesn't throw the ball just like Mel Kiper told him too.
I guarantee you, if Tebow actually had any potential to be a DECENT QB, he would still have an NFL job somewhere.

I don't quite understand that.Agreed. It sounds like many teams would be willing to use him at other positions. I've heard FB, Short yardage, slot receiver and TE. The "experts" say he could play QB in the CFL. Therefore he has to decide, would he rather play in the NFL or play QB?
Tebow is an athlete and could benefit a team playing multiple positions, but both sides need to be willing to do that.

not at all, it's just odd that all he has ever done was win, and that hasn't seemed to be good enough.

It's arrogant to think he knows better than anyone else. He's by all accounts an incredible person and Christian but I feel as though this one act is arrogant. I don't say that as an indictment on him, just this situation.SuperJon wrote:For all of the humility that people praise Tebow for, he's being pretty arrogant in refusing to change positions.what? one has nothing to do with the other.

Tebow is arguably the worst QB statistically in NFL history to get as much playing time as he did. thepostman wrote:I have heard the CFL thing too, but I thought that was an even more pass friendly kind of league then the NFL. Wouldn't that hurt him even more? You would think so, but the CFL rules might actually benefit him. His WRs would be moving before the snap which would get them into their routes quicker, the DL has to line up a full yard off the line of scrimmage making it take longer to get to the QB, and players are smaller so he'd be able to take less of a pounding when scrambling. Granted, his biggest weakness is passing, but the CFL game might mitigate that a bit and allow him to actually develop some ability to read defenses and anticipate plays.

The run in Denver was fun, and inexplicable on a number of levels, but that's over now and most likely so is Tebow in the NFL.
