It went great. The plan is to kick UK out in all sports except for basketball since our football program is obviously superior....

Other then that my sources are very quiet, but there should be an announcement by graduation...if not by then then Memorial Day weekend for sure. My sources also said the PAC 60000 is making a last minute push. Should be a very interesting few weeks!

Almost everyone that posts in this thread is either a hard core kool-aid drinker or over the top cynical. It's kindve amusing to read pages and pages of the same stuff when there has really only been 2-3 pieces of legit information come out.

I think we haven't got an invite because God wants to keep reading the boisterous merriment that is this thread.

You do have a point though jinx in that we seem to have become polarized. The only legitimate topic of discussion recently has been the mention of what Coach Gill will do if we don't receive an invite soon. Granted he does need to win some big games, but if he does and PH's theory of our lack of a winning tradition being the roadblock to our invite doesn't pan out, then we might be up the creek... without a coach? You have to feel for JB... I imagine he's under some pressure to try and make this happen. I pray that we are able to retain our talent in the Athletics Department on coaching staffs and on the fields of play regardless of how long it takes to move up.

You are spot on jinxy. If you voice any opinion that differs from a few of the "experts" on this board, you're jumped on like wolves on raw meat. It's hard to have a legit conversation when a few on here are competing to see who can be the most sarcastic. I'm surprised that by being a Christian university and assuming most on this board are Liberty grads, nobody seems to state the obvious. Shouldn't we all be praying for God's will in this process? If it's His will, we will move up. If He's big enough to create the universe, He's big enough to open the door for Liberty if it be His will.

I think the problem is that sometimes ppl do try make things about religion and god and what not. Ppl chose the religion they felt was best suited or them, and whether right or wrong you can't try n force what you believe onto other ppl., and that's the way it comes acros to some others.

LU will get the call up, not because god says so but because ppl will c them for what they bring to the conference, n not b as close minded as others had been. At least that's the way I feel about it.
