FYI for all you RP supporters. I worked a RP rally last night at the Denver convention center. Originally they set up 750 chairs in a big ballroom and then went to 1250. His handlers were worried that the room would look empty on tv if they set up too many. Let me tell you, I thought I'd get to here what he had to say, but there were so many people that showed up, the ballroom was standing room only. I'd say apprx 3500 to 4500 people. Good crowd for a non advertised event. The majority of the people were college age. I didn't get to here him due to my duties, but was impressed by the politness of his crowd.

Are you willing to throw away your vote just like the Ross Perot supporters in 1992 which let us directly to the Satan in women's clothing. Are you willing to repeat that mistake if Paul runs as an independent. Are you willing to sit out and not vote at all helping ensure Mrs.Satan becomes the leader of the free world?

I find it amazing, that the more I read around, the number of people who were both Paul and Kucinich supporters. The two are like complete opposites, but it kind of shows you the kind of mentality these guys both appeal to.

Short answer, yes. I don't see a significant difference between Mrs. Satan and the wolf so to vote for one is to vote for the other. If McCain's the "red state" nominee, I'll be throwing my vote away.

I wasn't old enough to vote in the above election, but was disappointed when Bush Sr. lost because of Perot. I don't think I would vote for McCain if he were against Obama. I would rather have a liberal with a Democrat name screw things up, than a Republican. Obama packs less of a political punch, IMO, than Hillary. He could easily be the next Jimmy Carter and whatever mess he creates can be easily cleaned up while proving why liberal ideology is bad for the country. If Hillary is on the Democrat ticket against McCain, I don't know what I'll do. Either way, if McCain gets the GOP nomination, I will strongly consider a third candidate for my vote.

Help us Obi Wan Romney, you're our only hope! :D

I think come September most people saying they will not vote for McCain will end up doing so. Hillary and or Obama will really tick them off once they get the nomination.

That may happen with me as well, but right now I can firmly say that I will be looking for a third party candidate. My state (Michigan) will more than likely end up voting democrat anyway, so my vote won't make a difference except in giving a voice that I do not like what the Republicans have given us to vote for.

Hopefully conservatives will come out in droves tomorrow and put Romney over McCain.

Is he more dangerous to the establishment in Congress or Retirement?

First he announces a new Homeschool curriculum...
Announcing the Ron Paul Homeschool Curriculum

There is nothing like this curriculum anywhere. Here are just a few of the factors that set it apart.

(1) Grades K-5 will be available for free. You have six years to try out the program without having to spend a dime.

(2) Students will learn the origins and travails of liberty in the Western world and in the United States in particular.

(3) Students will learn the economics of the Austrian School.

(4) Students can learn at their own pace. If they’re advanced and move more quickly, they can quiz out of the first two years of college and enter college as juniors.

(5) The emphasis in this program is not simply on teaching from a different point of view, or teaching material that no other school or curriculum offers, although the Ron Paul Curriculum does both of these things. But it also emphasizes oral and written communication, so that students will be able to spread and defend their ideas effectively. Students will have their own blogs, start YouTube channels, and even learn the basics of video production, website design, and Internet marketing.

(6) It’s cheap. For access to the forums, it’s $250 per year. Each course is just $50. No textbooks — they’re awful, and we use pdfs and primary documents to teach students — so you’ll save hundreds of dollars that way as well.

(7) Parents who wish they’d had the chance for this kind of education can listen to the lectures their children are hearing. We’ve made them of a length that works well with the average commute.

Then he announces a non-interventionist Foreign Policy Think Tank...
‘The neo-conservative era is dead’: Ron Paul announces DC think-tank

Ron Paul has been retired from Congress for only a few months, but he’s certainly not shying away from politics. The former US representative has already announced his new project: the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

Former Congressman Ron Paul will hold a press conference this Wednesday to launch his next big project: the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity. After decades in and out of the US House of Representatives leading the call for a non-interventionist foreign policy and the protection of civil liberties, Dr. Paul is launching a revolutionary new vehicle to expand his efforts. The Institute will serve as the focal point of a new coalition that crosses political, ideological, and party lines.

The Ron Paul Institute will focus on the two issues most important to Dr. Paul, education and coming generations. It will fill the growing demand for information on foreign affairs from a non-interventionist perspective through a lively and diverse website, and will provide unique educational opportunities to university students and others.

The neo-conservative era is dead. The ill-advised policies pushed by the neo-cons have everywhere led to chaos and destruction, and to a hatred of the United States and its people. Multi-trillion dollar wars have not made the world a safer place; they have only bankrupted our economic future. The Ron Paul Institute will provide the tools and the education to chart a new course with the understanding that only through a peaceful foreign policy can we hope for a prosperous tomorrow.

Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dr. Paul has invited the Institute’s board of advisors to speak at the conference, including Rep. Walter Jones, Jr. (NC), Rep. John Duncan, Jr. (TN), former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (OH), Judge Andrew Napolitano, Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, and Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

Given that Dennis Kucinich is on the board of advisors, it'll be interesting to see what the RPI's policy on alien invasion will be, and under what circumstances it will be appropriate to intervene if such were to occur.
