I seriously doubt Konan would have played much if any at PF with the players we have coming in. It makes no sense. He's too small. He only played there this year because JVP was redshirting and Burrus beat out Carter at the 5. IMHO Antoine will start at the 4 next year and get most of the minutes and Sommy and Baird will fight for backup time. Brown is pretty much the guy taking Konan's place. If he sees significant time at the 4 next year, then I'm wrong.

I seriously doubt the guys on the team know less than you.

I don't know a lot SJ, but I do have a good idea what a D1 power forward looks like, and it's a lot more like Antwan or Sommy than it is Konan, (or his "replacement" Brown for that matter.)

Like I said, if we see a lot of Brown at the 4 next year, that will indicate at least to some degree that it would have been the same for Konan if he had stayed, in which case I will gladly admit that I know even less than I thought. I already missed one prediction on Patrick when I said I didn't think he would transfer up North. It will be interesting to see where Perez ends up.

I would be shocked if Konan lasted 2 years at New Hampshire, COLD Weather and that coach is nutz!!

Burrus should be tough PF the next 3 years in the Big South.

Agreed--because he will declare for the NBA draft before then. Play Basketball

That's a great place for Chris. Its closer to home and after a year of sitting out he'll have a real opportunity to have an impact in DeLand.

Cedarville is now a provisional NCAA Division II. Go Jackets.

OCU is year in/year out among the top 2-3 NAIA programs. They practically have standing reservations in KC. Congrats to Johnny.

Former Oldsmar Christian guard Chris Perez, who signed with Liberty in 2009, has decided to transfer to Stetson.

Last season, Perez played in 31 games with three starts as a freshman at Liberty, averaging 5.5 points in over 15 minutes a game. At Stetson, Perezwill join a recruiting class that includes Clearwater’s Adam Pegg.

A 6-foot-3 scoring guard and three-stare recruit his senior year, Perez led Oldsmar with 24.0 points per game and chose the Flames over Utah State, Northeastern, Fordham and Stetson.

Perez also played with current Florida Gator and McDonald’s All-American Kenny Boynton as a member of the AAU 17-under national champion Team Breakdown.

I forgot Perez transferred to Stetson. That makes me happy that they beat Wake. I guess he wouldn't be playing yet though.

Chris Perez is transferring..................... again

http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketb ... t-edition¨

He only has one year left and has used his redshirt year, so the only thing I can figure is he is graduating and using the ¨master´s program loophole¨ He averaged 15ppg at Stetson last season, so I have to think he is looking to move up a level. Maybe a Gator? He is a former AAU teammate of Kenny Boynton.

I got a call from an NBA friend last night that is looking to put together a team in the dominican this summer and was asking me about Perez. He ended up having a pretty decent career at Stetson.
