Just a note: We have two people who want to be the 16'th team. One can no longer do it, one I'm waiting for who has not responded yet, so I might have to take control and draft for me and the 16'th team until that person can take it over.

I just wanted to know if there would be any objections, as much as I hate to do it but I don't believe in kicking anyone out because we are at 15. It's my fault that I wanted to get the 4 division play so badly.

Rest assured, I will not stock rosters, nor will I trade between my team and the 16'th (until the owner joins), but I think it's better than just having a "ghost" team the entire year.

Correct. The FAQ section handles that on ESPN I think.

Can we get the keepers locked and visible, so we can start to check those guys off our draft board? I have my war room setup, but at least 5 analyst doing nothing right now, because they are complaining about spending time scouting, when they don't know who is available. Who's running this league? ;) Got to Go - ESPN just showed up and got to handle a few interviews... The life of a GM......

Note: We're going to back to the original scoring format we used in 2011.

Batting Average (AVG) Home Runs (HR)
Runs Scored (R) Runs Batted In (RBI)
Stolen Bases (SB) On Base plus Slugging Pct (OPS)
Total Bases (TB)
Pitching
Earned Run Average (ERA)* Strikeouts (K)
Walks plus Hits Per Innings Pitched (WHIP)* Wins (W)
Saves (SV) Quality Starts (QS)
Strikeout to Walk Ratio (K/BB)
*Minimum 10 IP

Draft at 9PM tonight!

We've cut it to 14. Also, divisions were used using your 2011 and 2012 standings average, sort of like how soccer pots are selected. If you're new, you were simply placed there, I don't know how good you are so sorry. This was used to try to keep both leagues as equal as possible.

Try and see if the keepers are locked. But the room won't open until 8PM, ESPN rules.

Posts like this make me miss FUmble but I figured Id ask...

In another league Ive been offered two deals. For the record my SP are Jacob Turner, Mike Fiers, Miguel Gonzalez, Ian Kennedy, Kevin Correia and Nick Blackburn:

Deal #1
Send Kevin Youkilis
Receive Tim Hudson

Deal #2
Send Ian Kennedy
Receive Brian Roberts
Receive Wandy Rodriguez

Should I take #1, #2, both or neither?

No to 1, I'd say no to 2 but it can go either way. See if you can get a better pitcher than Wandy, I don't think he's as good a fit with Pittsburgh.

No way on #2. Kennedy is too good as a young SP to move for a DL waiting to happen 2B and a solid LHP.

Maybe on #1 depending on what else you've got in the 3B/1B realm.

No to both. Roberts is interesting at a scarce position, but way too early to tell on him but no way I would deal Kennedy. Youkilis could have a bounce-back year and is off to a good start. Hudson, nearing 40, not so much.

Assuming Granderson comes back OK, and if you need saves, I might do this one even though it means getting stuck with two Yankees. Teheran is pretty much a non-factor. If you don't need the saves, pass.

I just got three trade proposals:

1)

Send Mariano Rivera
Receive Jim Henderson and Roy Halladay

2)

Send Rafael Soriano
Receive Jim Henderson and Roy Halladay

3)

Send Rafael Soriano AND Roy Halladay
Receive Brandon Morrow, Kelvin Herrera and Roy Halladay

My gut tells me to reject all three...correct? Im also debating a counteroffer

Halladay, at best, will be out 3 months and realistically may not be back all year. Also, #3 is confusing since you're trading Halladay for Halladay.

Agreed. Also, not my trade either.
