Which means you can absolutely rule out and Drake unless we are paying them to come up. Stetson is not coming up. talked with their eq guy. their schedule is done.

I would expect ours to be released shortly as well.

Please keep in mind that the caliber of opponents we will be hosting at Williams Stadium will increase exponentially once we land in an FBS league. We'll settle for quantity over quality in our home dates this fall. Which frankly is not such a bad thing.

I'm still upset the NSU game was scratched. I guess having 2 LU games within 10 minutes of my house this year was too good to be true. Oh, well.

Talked to one of the guys on AGS who does the schedule matrix for CSJ and looks like our only options are transitional D1 Incarnate Word or Jacksonville (who we will have to pay an arkload of money to add a 7th away game) for the opening on October 12th

Unfortunately the good games are all away with the exception of Coastal. The good news is, we should know on 10/19 if we are playoff bound or not. Looks like a 9-2 or 8-3 season, don't see an at large bid possibility.

5 - 0 in the BSC is all i care about. the chance of us getting an at large bid has never been good. before i came around it looked as though LU had the record to get in several times but didn't. my wallet will take 7 home games against anybody vs 1 or 2 far away road games against better teams. i've still not fully recovered from the Montana trip.hahaha although i will go where ever the schedule says we are playing. the past 3 years have gone by so fast i want to savor these final 2

Easy to say, hard to do. FBS games are always going to be on the road. Unless you need the money like CSU, I see no reason to Schedule more than one. I´m sure HCTG and JB did everything they could to try to fill those 7 home dates with FCS games. Bottom line is there is no benefit to scheduling less than the allowed 12 games, so if you can´t get FCS teams to come, you play the teams who will.

Truth is, we're sort of like the Boise of FCS. Nobody wants to play us because it's not considered a quality win, or a quality loss. Thus we have to schedule D2's. For example, JMU beat a Big South team. If they lose, then it hurts. For example, can you believe JMU lost to a Big South team?

I know, we all have a perception that we're more than this. But on the outside, that's not how we're viewed. And whether it's true or its false, the perception is all that matters in the universe.
