I went to Milan twice yesterday. True story. That's not normal but that's where the friends wanted to go for dinner after I already had it for lunch.

So Curry was at yesterday spring football game....ha ha... I bet he realizes he should have stayed at LU... He would be getting ready for NBA draft right now...But he is getting ready for 5th and final mediocre year at Duke.

He'll never admit but deep down he knows he should have stayed.

My wife has always wanted to go to Cameron Indoor for a Duke game. So tonight to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary earlt we are going to see Duke play Va Tech (I had to pick a team I could cheer for Duke over and Va Tech fit the bill). Didn't realize at the time that it would be senior night. Dawned on me a few weeks ago that Seth's parents and me will probably be the only ones their probably that will see both Seth's home debut and farewell game in person.

As of right now it looks like he won't be drafted. Espn has him as the 86th best prospect in this year's draft. He'll most likely play summer ball with some NBA team though. His pedigree and shooting touch alone will make that happen.

his draft prospects are a crap ton better scoring 17 a night at duke vs 25 a night at liberty if you ask me. teams draft guys on non tourney mid major teams at the end of 1st round and 2nd round historically. you get a few damien lillards here or there but its not usual.

i'll even say his draft prospects would probably be non existent at liberty.

You guys think so 1 dimensionally. Do you honestly think if he were still here last year that BeTray would have left? And that he would have recruited the same guys Layer did? Can you imagine the guys he could have netted with the thought of playing along side of a Curry and Jesse Sanders? Everybody tries to downplay the magnificent 7 class because it imploded so quickly, but that team was on the verge of being a NCAA 1st round winning team the next season. Can you imagine what we would have assembled by their Sr year? THAT is what hurts the most about this whole situation. I have often stated how rare those mid major teams are and we were so close to being one of them.

I'm getting carried away thinking about it. He would be on TV basically from March 1st to April 4th no matter how far we got. He would be a darling for what he was doing at a mid-major.

i did think about what 4 years of seth curry would mean to the program talent wise. but still, there was no guarantee that this team would of been a tourney team or even big south champs!

i think its just wishful thinking that with seth, liberty would of had a 08 Davidson year (i think that was the year). the sure money is on Duke. in the tourney every year (last year gives me the chortles) and usually guaranteed a FEW games.
