No one with a brain will say anything other than Toman is one of the best recruiters in the country. That's always been his reputation, even before he got to Liberty. His issue is managing games and managing players.
Agreed, I'm just saying it could be a lot worse...seen a Lib basketball game lately?

True. But we should aspire to be the best we can be in everything. We have the resources.

I'd say that baseball has done the most with the least from the 3 sports I really care about. I'm not saying Toman is perfect but he had us going toe to toe with the best baseball program in college baseball (I can't even dream of that happening with football or basketball). He even knew enough to get himself ejected so we could win a game. Now if we can just get him to get ejected on Friday we may have the perfect system.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to suggest this.

After Cordell made the catch to rob a guy of a HR, we relayed the ball in. The guy on 2nd tags, LU appeals. They call him safe. While the ball was still live, Toman ran on the field to argue the call, but the guy on 1st hadn't tagged so our guys alertly get him. They ruled that, because Toman was on the live field of play, the out is negated. That's when he got even more mad and was tossed.

He had every right to argue the play and should have argued the play. He just went on the field too early.

All three were one run games, we could have won all three. Of course we could have lost all three..... I think we should have won at least two but I don't think anyone (other than us) thought we would do this well. My word to the players would be: GREAT JOB !
