Wait, last week you said 6-10 initially and we got 2-3. So now you say 1-3. Should we expect 12?

I say anything from nothing to a dusting here in Lynchburg. It's coming directly from the West. The mountains will push it North of us. Happens almost every time.

You always say nothing will happen. You have little faith.

I mean it could.

That's because 90% of the time the snow goes north. I go by my own personal memory almanac and not your meteorological voodoo. Almost all snow storms that come from the west and not the south don't affect Lynchburg, even if Roanoke gets hit. Also, this last storm I was doubtful about because of all the previous rain. I've never seen anything like that. I'm still amazed at the rate of snowfall that was happening.

There's a slight chance of it. Not a big deal but it could happen. After this one moves through, I'll look at it in closer detail.

Our forecast model increased overnight. We went from 1-2 to 2-4 inches. During rush hour :(

How long did it take you to get home? They let us go early, but I know a bunch of people who turned their 15 minute commute into 2+ hours.

Took me 30 minutes to get back to the Oceanfront from my office on Military Hwy. I get off work at 3:30, so it was just starting to get bad when I left.

Nobody cares about ice. That's why I didn't say anything. :D

I had around .10 of an inch of it. But it didn't really stick at ground level.

Rumors of possible snow this Friday... any chance? NOAA has gone back and forth, from nothing to 30% to nothing.

Rogers, small chance. Shouldn't amount to much if anything. Models did have this a huge storm, but since then it's just a small clipper crushed by the the northern jet stream.

Maybe I'll just have to be content with the 4" of snow we've had.

Sporadic power outages and maybe a stray tornado, but east of 29. If there is one.

Could be some straight line wind damage though.

Just had the line come through. I'd guess winds for a minute were easily topping 70 mph, and then it stopped. Nasty stuff. You don't want to be out in this stuff.
