This program has dropped off the planet....and you turn it into an issue against a coach who was consistently building a winning BSC program. I for one am not bitter but I am a realist. As one local very successful and influential business recently told me that LU has never had the local key money people in the Vines like RD had in his last season. He has not bothered to return. Obviously somebody sold a direction that was taken us to where we are. Your blame game tactic solves nothing.
(for the record PH usually invokes the name of the OTHER coach who gave us a Big South title when IMBach's friend is mentioned by name)

I for one love LU and truly believe we can be a difference maker in numerous more lives with these program. If the program had repeated RD's success most you would singing "hail to the chief"! Interesting days are ahead. Praying for JLFjr's wisdom!Who is trying to defend the state of the program

With some being past and possibly current athletics employees their bias of the facts is understandable. Like I said earlier I am not looking for a fight and don't argue by nature however I do understand business. The AD was new and looking for a splash. The administration doubled down with $$$. For some to blame a coach who resurrected us from the Hankinson project to the greatest basketball day in Vines Center history is hilarious. Six years into the direction there is a pretty self evident track record of expenses and results. But hey this is a message board what more should one expect. You say you understand business, which may or may not be true. What is crystal clear is that you don't understand the BUSINESS of collegiate athletics. One simply can't place a consumer business template over a collegiate athletic department. Simply put, if you did, most schools would not have an athletic Department, including Liberty, because the bleed money. You would not have any Women's athletics or 'Olympic Sports' in the programs that remain for the same reason. Players would go to the highest bidder and GPA's and graduation rates would be even more irrelevant than they are now.
I hate you Merry Christmas :D  May[…]
