I feel better knowing I got beat by someone who is moving up, and that my bench wouldn't have won me the game.

Next season, maybe I will actually be present for the live draft and can get a good team out of the box!

I got a real hot streak midseason, and needed a bit of luck a couple games and now I'm one win away (after tonight's game) from my first FF fantasy championship (gonna have to knock off LUconn and he has a very good lineup and can put up big points week to week. Looking forward to a good matchup next week

Flat out played the wrong players yesterday. Thought too highly of the pats against kaepernick and crabtree went off, and took a chance on a RB and it didnt pay off. I have the points on the bench to have won this game, thats what sucks.

Does it make you feel better to know that I was going to bench Decker in favor of another WR but I just forgot to? He's the only one of my players that scored any points.

TDDance...if I win next week I will do my best to be a gracious champion...I'm having the best season ever since I started doing fantasy sports with the guys on the board so I have nocreason to spoil it by being a sore loser or a sore winner

This is probably the first time I've looked to see who was on BJs team. He really doesn't have any holes in his roster. I'm not entirely sure how we allowed him to compile that list of starters.

But hey, at least his QB is only Brady going up against one of the worst teams in the league a week after being embarrassed in prime time.

I'm just wondering if he'll let his '08 POTY title go. It's been 4 years!

What I did before the season was load up every position in my draft rankings with big names that way I get something good at at least one position. I got lucky this year getting bigtime player at every position and a few lucky breaks on the waiver wire

One of my dissapointments of this year has to do with not being commissioner, I have been the last few years and we werent able to keep all the records together. With jbock out of A league next year, ill lay stake at taking it over now haha.

I cant really complain because I looked at my lineup and consciously chose to play who I did. There was no way I was playing crabtree against the pats when Kaep hasnt been throwing to him much. Lost it for myself. Im just relieved my gutsy calls in another league kept me in the championship, and that ones for money.

We need to try and find a way to grow the leagues a bit next year. BJ shouldn't have gotten the top 2 RB's haha

um. crabtree has been targetted over 10 times a game weeks 13-14 and i imagine top 10 in receptions and yardage those 2 weeks. didn't score but 100 yards+ a game is solid. meanwhile NE is top 10 in allowing wr's to score fantasy points against them.

of course its all about who you have. if you have a studly wr core than its possible you could bench him. in the flex it would take a decent running back or something to give him the nod...i wouldn't of started a backup running back over him. a very bad decision is why you lost.

My other 2 WR's are far more solid and consistent. And again, I think I overestimated the pats and forgot brady doesnt play defense. Terrible decision on my part, agreed.

The thing I learned this year, especially in an auction draft, is that balance throughout the roster probably isn't the best approach. I had a ton of average WRs and RBs that would put up low double figures routinely but didn't have the guy or two that I could count on for 20 points or more any given week. The balanced approach resulted in having guys on the bench that were as good as the ones in the starting lineup and it was a dice roll on who to start every week. Sometimes I'd get lucky, sometimes not.

I will take 50 points from my kicker and R white and JJ. great start to the b league championship game. took a chance starting both receivers but so far i'm looking good. I just need drew brees to have a bad game now.

Took a tough one with TG not doing well and Ryan going off...but all my biggest scorers are going today so hoping for a major rally today and my first championship since 2005 (and first with FlameFans)

Like our beloved Flames, I can take a moral victory knowing that had I played the right wr last week, I would have won the championship this week. Good season everyone. LUConn had a great season, and quite honestly, Im glad our 1 and 2 seeds were in the finals.
