Beaumont (TX) Enterprise wrote:West Brook football players Ja'Ron Greene and Justin Guillory have both been offered scholarships from Liberty University this week, West Brook coach Kevin Flanigan said on Friday.

Greene is a 6-foot-2, 240-pound senior defensive lineman while Guillory is a 6-foot, 165-pound senior defensive back.

Greene, who also has offers from Stephen F. Austin and Prairie View A&M, finished this season with 20 solo tackles, seven assisted tackles six tackles for loss, one sack eight quarterback pressures and two fumble recoveries.

Ja'Ron Greene, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound nose guard only made it eight plays in the first quarter of last year's season opener against Ozen when he says he was hit below the knee by one player while being blocked by another player.

He tore all of the ligaments in his ankle missed the rest of the season.

Big, strong, nonstop motor. Watching the highlights he has a quick first step off the line. Worked through adversity and even finds time to coach little league BBall. He seems to still be growing and putting work into the gym. I hope he commits.

It is well-documented how passionate I am about recruiting Texas. I enjoyed seeing all the local stadiums here in Houston in his highlight video. West Brook plays big boy 5A football and traditionally is a very strong program.
