Gus Malzahn has been a hot name that's come up for several head coaching jobs within the past year or two. I'd lean more towards the good hire at this point unless all of these ADs are idiots...

Heading out in a little bit to tailgate before the ODU-Georgia Southern game. I hope the scoreboard dude has done some finger excercises leading up to this one. If they don't score a combined 110 points, I'll be shocked. It's also on ESPN at noon, so watch for me. I'll be wearing my face (although only 3 of you know what I look like, so that's not much of a help).

In non-coaching related news...Georgia Southern outscored FBS bound ODU 28-0 in the 4th quarter and won 49-35 to head to the FCS semifinals for the third consecutive season

This would be the year for them to win it...Navy has been head and shoulders above them the last few years and with them being down this year, Army needs to take advantage and send their seniors out as winners

Collin Klein didn't kiss a girl until he got married? Talked of faith, values, and blessings on the Heisman stage just now. We need to go FBS ASAP so we can start getting some of these kids. They don't want to play FCS, Haize.

As much as I love Skyline & Gold Star, they aren't on the same level as real Texas barbecue.

With that said, everyone in Lubbock is always desperately trying to get to just about anywhere but Lubbock. And Cincy is a definite step up from a lifestyle perspective. Football is another story.

As for the Heisman, what a lousy set of candidates that a redshirt freshman on a middle of the pack SEC team could win the Heisman. Poor kid couldn't live his dream of being a Longhorn but is feeling pretty good about himself right now. Go Antlers!
