From my end, I have no idea what you all are talking about in this instance. The number of times I have stepped in to censor a post outside of language concerns could be counted on one hand in 7 years of this site. If the recent barrage of malcontent posts isn't evidence of the free speech of the board than I'm not sure what else to offer.

Nothing has been deleted, don't read anything into what I posted. It's exactly what it says. Some posters have this thread tagged to send them alerts whenever something new is posted. As referenced earlier in the thread, they get mad when people post off-topic because they get these notifications and think something amazing has happened with our school getting into a new conference. That is all.

While some have mentioned current FBS schools New Mexico State and Idaho, I believe two institutions from the FCS ranks, Appalachian State and Georgia Southern, would fit well in our league and make a whole lot more geographical sense.

With the recent comments from Troy's AD regarding App St and Georgia Southern, I'm wondering if Western Kentucky holds Liberty's golden ticket into the Sun Belt. I'm saying this because it appears that neither Troy or South Alabama are willing to shift over to the western division.

What other eastern teams are there to fill WKU's spot? JMU? Delaware? Jacksonville St? JMU and Delaware have their hearts set on the MAC or even the nBE. And JSU? From my understanding, Troy and Jacksonville St cannot stand one another. So, I doubt if Troy allows JSU into the Sun Belt. Therefore, Liberty will most likely need WKU to be invited by C-USA in order to move up.

When the Sun Belt was thinking about expanding to 12 last year, I was extremely confident about us. Since that time, it seems we have been less and less a part of the conversation. At least the ones we're aware of. Now in this most recent round, I still see us as a player but there seems like there's a bunch of scenarios that could leave us out. If for some reason, GSU gets an invite and they stay at 10, we're out. The Sun Belt could lose more teams which would be good for us, unless they loose too many teams in which case we could see another WAC scenario or maybe a merger scenario, both of which would seemingly leave us out. My opinion is that there's is a sweet spot of some more movement but not too much more, for us to get invited.

+1, I feel the same way. WKU has to leave for us to be be a player and get invited. The porridge has to be just right, not to hot or to cold.

That's true, but they elected to stay at 10 last year and it made no sense. I don't think that the SBC presidents are bound to logic.
