Too bad UK and Calshady were too scared to play Indiana this season.

What's that? I just heard Indiana is still scoring buckets on Dagum Roy. Wait, another news alert came in. Kellen Dunham and Rotnei Clarke just rained a few more threes on the Tar Holes. LOL What an embarrassment of a basketball team. Have fun watching your Tar Holes in the NIT this year.

Bluebloods never die, they just hibernate for a few years. You should know that. But at least my team will play the best, not run from it.

Yes, all bluebloods have a few down years. That still doesn't mean I can't relish in it when one I hate goes through it. :D

How many top 25 or top 25 receiving votes teams are on UNC's non-conference schedule this season? Butler, Indiana, UNLV, Texas. And how many top 25 or receiving votes teams are on Kentucky's schedule? Duke, Notre Dame, Baylor, Louisville, and Maryland.

Yep, sore losers after dropping 102 points on them in the NCAA Tournament en route to winning the National Championship.

Yet wont play the regular season match up. You know, the one they just lost and can actually control whether they play it or not. Unlike arbitrary tournament seeding. But hey cash is king in Lexington and the cost of recruits is going thought the roof!

And Duke dominated the entire 2nd half. 20pts and 17reb from Plumlee speaks for itself, this will be a special season in Durham if the stars keep aligning!

That was a Hurley to Hill type throw and one of the reasons why this team is doing so well, they are all in sync together when it matters the most.

They appear to have great chemistry because no one is eyeing the door to the NBA. It appears 'The Other Plumlee' and Rivers were a cancer on the team. They can't keep having droughts on offense but at least Kelly and Curry seem to have finally bought in.
I'm just happy my 2 favorite teams are on top of the polls. It won't last but I'm enjoying it while it does!

Like I told one of my Duke friends back in October, Rivers was addition by subtraction. Players that are black holes rarely have much team success in the NBA, much less in college. I like Doc Rivers his ton, but the basketball world would be better off without his son.

They deserve to be #1. Right now they are being punished in the polls because they were #8 in the preseason polls, and apparently for some reason most of the idiot voters don't think the #1 team should fall unless they lose despite Duke having earned the #1 spot.

My question with Duke is not now, but MARCH. Duke always is one of the best teams early in the season, but in recent years they have not been able to keep it up all season. Is this a team that is built to win in March? Aside from the Championship run, they have really struggled to live up to their seeding the last eight years. Last eight years they have been a #1 or #2 seed seven times, only made it past the Sweet 16 one year. Is this team more like the 2010 team or the seven other teams that failed to live up to the expectations that come with being a #1 or #2 seed?

They're young. The best is yet to come. If they're not one and done.

But then again, Kentucky is the JUCO of basketball.

.
They will ALWAYS be young. Calipari's idea of a veteran team is 3 Sophomores!

Karma is a beot-ich. Won't play IU and still come away with a loss in Indiana Play Basketball

Wow, apparently Michael Dixon is done at Missouri...
http://www.thebiglead.com/index.php/201 ... -missouri/
Michael Dixon has not played yet this year, and if Gabe DeArmond (of Power Mizzou)’s sources are correct, he will not play again at the University of Missouri.

Over the weekend, a series of tweets from his former teammate, Kim English, and a woman that responded to him hinted at the reason behind the suspension. Then, local newspapers found the police reports from August, where Dixon had been accused of rape, but no charges were filed after an investigation. Today, an older report has emerged, where another accuser declined to file charges in 2010, but which contains troubling information.

A Student Conduct Committee took administrative action against Dixon, despite no criminal actions being pursued. The basketball team, and the University has different standards than a court of law, as well, and if DeArmond is correct (and I trust he has strong sources), the University is ready to move on now after the second report has gone public.

No, I was disappointed no one had given me crap, not the loss. I was expecting the loss. At Notre Dame? Hardly anyone wins there, all the stars have to align for that to happen. This early in the season, that ain't happening for Kentucky.

The hotbed of college hoops that is Blacksburg is enjoying the Hokies' best start in 30 years. New coach Johnson has seemed to instill something there that Greenberg never could.

Sorry, my own drunken stupor caused a bit of a grammatical errors. UK lost again, this time at home to Baylor.

ESPNStatsInfo: Kentucky dropped from 8th to unranked. It's the largest drop from ranked to unranked since the AP poll went to 25 teams in 1990.
