With two games to go, here is what we are looking at now:

1. LUConn LUConns 8-3
2. Gill's Gaudy Gophers 7-4
3. Wicked Pissahs 6-5
4. Glory Hole Days 6-5
5. Liberty Flames 6-5
6. Sly's Fighting Foxes 5-6
7. Johnny U 5-6
8. Fincastle Fanatics 4-7
9. Frontrunners 4-7
10. UTEP Miners 4-7

LUconn clinched a playoff berth last week. He clinches the top seed and a first round bye with a win and a loss by Gill's Gaudy Gophers this week. Gill's Gaudy Gophers can clinch a playoff berth with a win and still has an outside chance at the top seed, but needs to win out and hope that LUconn loses one of the last two games due to having a higher overall point total.

The big battle will be from 6-10. Because TTL's UTEP Miners team knocked off Glory Hole Days (and dropped them from a possible first round bye to the four seed), there is now a five team logjam not only for the final playoff spot, but for a spot in the league next year. Sly's Fighting Foxes is in the final playoff position after a win over Fincastle Fanatics. Defending A-League champion Johnny U is on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs are concerned, and has the unenviable task of facing the top team in the league this week to even stay in the hunt.

Fincastle Fanatics, after moving back inside the top 8, took one on the chin as I noted a few posts ago. With UTEP Miners also winning, FF has to get a win this week to have a chance at clinching an A-League slot. FF does have a chance at a playoff berth, but will need to win and hope Sly's Fighting Foxes loses to Liberty Flames, as FF holds the points tiebreaker over both Sly and Johnny U.

The matchups to watch this week will be:

Sly's Fighting Foxes vs. Liberty Flames
Fincastle Fanatics vs. Frontrunners (loser is likely headed to B-League)
UTEP Miners vs. Wicked Pissahs

Some good action this week in A-League. Four of the five matchups are pretty much decided through Sunday's action. The one game with the result in doubt is Fincastle Fanatics and Frontrunners in a battle for the last automatic spot in the 2013 A-League. FF currently leads by 2.96 points, but he is out of players for the week, while Frontrunners has the Eagles defense along with Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart. If Frontrunners can get those points, here is what the standings will look like come tomorrow morning:

1. LUconn LUconns 9-3 (clinch #1 seed)
2. Liberty Flames 7-5 (holds the points tiebreaker)
3. Glory Hole Days 7-5
4. Gill's Gaudy Gophers 7-5
5. Wicked Pissahs 6-6
6. Sly's Fighting Foxes 5-7 (holds the points tiebreaker)
7. Johnny U 5-7
8. Frontrunners 5-7
9. UTEP Miners 5-7
10. Fincastle Fanatics 4-8

If FF does hold on and get the victory, He will slot into the 6 spot due to holding the tiebreaker over the other teams at 5-7. Jbock will be a Carolina Panthers fan tonight, and hope that Jonathan Stewart does not get that many touches in the game. I'll go over the Week 13 matchups of note after the Monday night game.

Yeah, you know how many points both my Wide Receivers got this week. Zero. Hah.

Everything that could go wrong has this year. Oh well. If I don't catch up, I'll destroy B league like I did last year :D

Frontrunners probably needs my matchup more than I do, because Im already in the playoffs (and the league for next year) but a win (and a loss by Glory Hole Days) gives me a first round bye.

Aaron Rodgers has not been the dominating force of the last two years at all this year. Screwed me over this week, I should still be in second place. UTEP miners had a breakout week and I had a slump week.

C League Standings

*1. RG3 HTTR 10-2-0
*2. Jinxy 9-3-0
*3. Podomatix 7-5-0
*4. Wolfsburg Wookiees 6-6-0
5. RiversRunsThroughIt 4-8-0
6. UwantToSaySomething? 4-8-0
7. YoAdrian 4-8-0
8. skywalker5291 4-8-0

No relegation, and it looks like the big game this week is RG3HTTR vs. Jinxy for the top spot pre-playoffs. Rivers and Uwant are both playing teams already in the playoffs (and teams they have already lost to this season), while YoAdrian and skywalker play each other.

RG3 has been the master of the roster moves this season -- the post-draft projections had him in 6th place, but he managed to make some good free agent signings and got himself into first.

Here are this week's A-League matchups:

Fincastle Fanatics vs. UTEP Miners
Simple here...winner of this one needs Frontrunners to lose to move into an A-League spot

Liberty Flames vs. Frontrunners
Liberty Flames wins, they can clinch #2 seed and a first round bye if Glory Hole Days scores less than 2.24 points more in their matchup and wins.

Frontrunners wins, and they will clinch a spot in the A-League for 2013.

Sly's Fighting Foxes vs. Johnny U
This is another big one...the winner of this matchup clinches the final playoff spot. The loser needs for UTEP Miners to defeat Fincastle Fanatics to stay in A-League for 2013 (since FF has the highest total score of all players from position 6-10)

Gill's Gaudy Gophers vs. Wicked Pissahs
Both Wicked Pissahs and GGG have a chance at the #2 seed with a win, but need both Liberty Flames and Glory Hole Days to lose.

LUconn LUconns vs. Glory Hole Days
LUconn doesnt have much really to fight for, having already clinched a playoff berth, A-league spot AND the #1 seed, but with a win can drop Glory Hole Days to as low as the 5 seed depending on the result of the game above.

Glory Hole Days can regain the #2 seed and a first round bye with a win and a loss by Liberty Flames OR by scoring 2.25 or more points than Liberty Flames if both win.

Hang on to your hats and break out your abacuses folks...this could be a crazy final week.

No BJ, all I have to do is win to avoid relegation. I have a much higher point total.

Sly and Johnny U are both at 5-8. Somebody has to lose. So the loser is in danger of relegation due to me having a higher point total. And UTEP would be relegated.

But only if I win.
