I grew up with a Little Debbie strawberry shortcake roll in my lunch. I could down like 5 of those in 1 sitting. Same goes with their awesome fudge brownies and pumpkin delights/apple flips.

Little Debbie was always something you buy when you need a bunch, like for kids' lunches. Hostess was stuff you'd buy in singles for a good snack. I grew up on Little Debbie but Hostess was always better quality (comparatively).
