Well the above statement by El Scorch isn't very Fair and Balanced...

there are trolls everywhere, why do we get our feelings hurt over a message board post????

1. Who ever promised "fair and balanced"? This isn't Fox News. This is a private message board and I make the rules for it. Get over it.

ToC (and all of his previous screennames) was banned because he turned every single post into the same discussion over and over. No one here wants to have that discussion except for you and ToC, apparently. I've tried making that clear repeatedly over several YEARS now, but now I'm over it. Banning is easier than repeating myself and hoping people will grow up.

Let the record show that Bigsouthking is not a different screen name for ToC. The poster is often critical and sometimes in agreement with ToC but it is most certainly not the same person or family member.

I do wonder how he feels that Eaker was an RD hire. I am not the biggest Eaker fan, but only because I lived next door to him and he kept me up numberous times throughout the year I lived next to him.

I do hope that this is just a misunderstanding because aside from keeping me awake late at night he seemed like a good guy.

Johnny Moore is more embarrassing to the university then Jerry Jr's son ever could be.

I like the guy, but yea PR might not be the best fit for him. However, in my opinion, Jerry Jr is doing about 15x better than the old man ever could. Yes, he doesn't say BHAG about three times every minute, doesn't carry a gut, and isn't on the speed dial for Fox News, but what he lacks for pomp an circumstance, JR more than makes up for his savey business moves. Maybe not the visionary, but sure as crap knows how to actually get stuff done.

The post you quoted was referencing a potentially racist Facebook post by Jerry Jr.'s son, Trey, on the night of the election. Nobody was questioning Jr. in this instance.

The handling of our coaches and players with drug related issues needs to be firmer than public universities, because students here are held to a higher standard. I am glad to see the University at least make a statement and stick their neck out for Eaker. I just hope it was an informed decision.

Chapman violated his probation and ended up in court again in January. Not sure what else happened after that. Letting him play is one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen a football program make.
