I'm not a football mind, so I won't talk about any football.
Just really disappointed.

Good coaching staffs figure out how to adjust to their circumstances and find a way to get the best out of their players. These guys are not being coached well right now.lol

Bad pursuit angles, arm tacking, poor performance by the quarterback, lack of effort by the wide receivers and a powder puff performance by the O-Line. Coastal came with the same intensity as Montana and once Liberty got smacked in the mouth the team decided to lie down. Gill and company are working with the prior regimes talent. I still believe that his current red-shirts, prospects and hopefully a 2 or 3 JUCOs will validate that his selection was not the wrong choice. Great players can make a coach look good. Poor players will cost you your job. Only a small handful of players will have positions secured next year and the quarterback will not be one of them. If his ultimate goal is to leave for greener BCS pastures he needs to put out strong run into the play-offs next year, before that $6 million over 3 years guaranteed Jay-hawk cash expires. In college, it can be either coaches or players that make a team great. Look at KState. There's one 4 star recruit on the roster and they're in BCS title contention because of the fantastic work of Bill Snyder who always gets the most out of his teams. The other end of the spectrum is Cam Newton's affect on Gene Chizik. When you don't have that player/those players then you want a staff that maximizes the talent they have. I can't imagine anyone honestly saying this staff is maximizing the talent it has even before the injuries.

Our OL is brutally thin and we've got 1 legit WR, yet we keep running 3 WR sets and trying to throw deep. A good coaching staff would change things up and start featuring the TEs as Gunn and Apon have both shown they're legit. That's how you deal with injuries and any good coach would do so.And where did you coach last? Thought so.
