Looks like Concord took some plays out of the Montana offense play book. That sideline run off tackle right generated big yards every time...#17 sustained his blocks 10-15 yards down field each time. I think the least of their gains on that play was 9 yards.

Looks like our game plan was simple...do what we do best...don't blow up...maybe break a play or two...win the game and move on...run, throw to the sidelines etc. They took away our throws to the sidelines. We did little to adjust to that. Pat Kelly was covered man most of the day. Had hoped to see our TE's utilized more in the seams in the second half to loosen up the sidelines and free up Pat a little more.

The Concord team was one of the most disciplined and well coached teams we've played all year. Few penalties, sustained downfield blocks, solid special teams, solid d-line play and pass coverage. We'd earned everything we gained.

My hat is off to Concord. I'm glad we won the ugly one. Here's to storming the beach.

Turn down the amp boss...no need to yell. We do need to create turnover but if the defense is playing well, and forcing punts and turnovers on downs, the offense has to cash in.

Save for an anemic pass rush...and the ability to finish of the sack when we get there...definitely an area that we can improve on that will have a positive impact on our ability to get our offense back on the field.

How can you be happy with this win? I mean with the budget differentials between programs and with Concord having more players from Gretna then we do, we should be upset we won!
I say we call up the Concord AD and ask if they would take this victory from us. That's what a real AD with out ego and with vision would do.

We've been giving up cheap points all year and have had to work hard for our scores, thus a 3-4 record. If the TO situation was turned around we'd be at least 4-3 or better. Returned INTs, returned fumble, returned kicks, returned FG attempt. I think that just about covers it all. When is it our turn? We need more pressure on the QB. If I'm not mistaken we may be last IN THE BIG SOUTH in creating TO's. That's a little disappointing.

Very lackluster win like everyone has said. I was pleased with the OL as their overall play has really improved. defensively we did pretty good even with Concord picking our our small DB's. I think we all saw the Presby performance and our expectations were raised. Indeed we will need to raise our level of play to beat Coastal next week, and i sure hope the coaches and players prepare well. I think the guys really overlooked Concord but we did what we needed to do to win the game.
