Now there are 9. I am currently the lone "Other" vote. I hope I'm wrong, but I think they lose 3.

Most votes on a Poll ever?

I voted 1 more loss, Gill getting a Win against G-Webb will be an AH-HA moment. "I can still do this"

IMHO, "QB play" will be the single greatest factor (excluding injuries) as to how far of a run we make through the BSC. I've got us losing two more (CC and SB) with the belief that we can win those games. However, I also suffer through the pragmatic perspective that says until we fix-the-pick-6 and develop a deep threat, we will experience some of the same pain as we did at Wake and vs Lehigh...two games I believed we could win.
I agree with fixing the pick-6 and the need for a deep threat--those are huge, but the how the OL comes through will dictate much of the QB play, in my opinion.

I said early on this would be a rebuilding year, and I think it's possible next year will be as well, since a new coach only helps recruiting when he's either really well known or really winning. Gill didn't recruit the current team, so we can only judge the current play, and I'm not sure I'm ready to start throwing grenades at him when all we have to judge are some close calls to better programs--but there are some definite areas that really need work.

IMHO, LeHigh's biggest pass gains came when the wideouts were so open it took half the field to catch up with them.
TC is well on his way with his first year recruits... I counted 7 of his recruits as either starting, 2nd team and/or on travel this year.

Montana and Norfolk State with losses today. Both are 2-3 and 0-2 in their conference. Montana's wins are us and a 1-3 South Dakota team. Norfolk State's wins are us and a 1-4 DII Virginia State team. Not quite the killer schedule it's being passed off as. We'll lose at least 1 more, but 2 or more is more likely.

I agree, This schedule is not as difficult as people on here are making it out to be and I think that it has something to do with being in the Big South and getting accustomed to the weak schedules and anything outside of that is labeled as tough.
To add to that Lehigh just barely beat Fordham today and they are a partial scholly school. Wake lost to Duke, a bottom feeding ACC team. Montana is a big name school but this year they had so many issues that they are not even close to what they used to be. I am not liking what I am seeing so far.

It's now a 7 game season. One Saturday at a time. There is no doubt that we will need a healthy roster, stellar prep & execution and a few good bounces along the way. Here's to all of the above. I'm in!

Go Flames!!!

i think SBU is a loss, and coastal is a toss-up. the rest we win out. anything worse than 6-5 is a big disappointment IMO.

I just don't see that much of a difference between 6-5 or 5-6. I'm fine with either of those outcomes. There is a big difference though between 5-6 and 4-7

Speaking from recent experience you may get banned for challenging the spin. Certainly have to best NSU.
