I know that some of the sports programs are not getting the attention that the overhyped football team is getting right now but this weekend is one to certainly forget about for most of our sports programs with the exception of Field Hockey.
1. Volleyball which has been rolling along as of late just lost to a 4-14 UNC Asheville team.
2. Womens soccer having "new found success" so far this season just lost to Chuck South, a bottom feeder in the BSC and preceeded that with a loss to Coastal, another lower tier BSC team.
3. Cross Country near the bottom of the Notre Dame invit in both mens and womens but the competition was very tough.
4. Mens soccer continuing their season of misery with a 3-0 at home vs Wofford.
Maybe it is a good thing that our football team didn't play G/W or we would lose that one. What is up with that. Thank God for Field Hockey!
