This has to go down as the biggest game in the last 5-7 years (from an FCS perspective).

Biggest in what way? As in the biggest/best program we have played? Well, obviously.

As in the results of the game having huge implications? Not even close.

Best program we have played for sure. With the Big South now carrying an autobid, it does lose a lot of luster as a game for those implications I will agree.

The Liberty Flames are building – as in they’re expanding their stadium, their scholarship level and their student body.

In fact right now Liberty University has the highest enrollment in Virginia: Almost 78,000 students last year, though a vast majority of that number was taking classes online. On the Lynchburg campus there’s closer to 12,000 students.

The 12,000-capacity Williams Stadium will soon hold 30,000 fans and in a couple years the Flames will be moving into the Bowl Subdivision.
