Nope, and I haven't forgotten how our men's track team has produced more NCAA Champions than your entire athletic department.
Why don't you compare the school records of your D3 champions against Liberty's school records.

You really want to go there, really? Not wise when the scholarship, Division I Liberty field hockey team lost to a D3 team that finished fourth in its conference with an overall losing record. http://www.libertyflames.com/index.cfm? ... &TeamID=18

Telling me your field hockey team with scholarship players couldn't even beat a team that is "above rec league" or "glorified intramurals" to use a term from the past that's been uttered on this board?

How else would you like to insult your own school?

So Liberty's best ever in the indoor 55 meters is only .24 seconds faster than a player from a team that is just a "notch above rec league"? So what's that make Liberty, two notches above rec league?

And if you want to bring up track records to discount LC in some way, might want to compare records to times recorded in the Olympics. LC record in the outdoor 100 meters is 10.61, that time would have beaten more than a handful of times in the Olympic preliminaries and in Round 1 heats. So if doing better than some Olympians is the route you want to go, good luck wasting your time. But if you want the records, then by all means keep them. I'll take the championship medals.

You do realize that this a) was a year ago and b) was with a brand new squad that by that point had played six games in its history?

So let me get this straight, you're now making excuses for why a DI scholarship team couldn't get the job done on the field against a glorified intramural team from D3?

You do realize that:
a) Eastern Mennonite, who LU lost to 2-1, finished the 2011 season with a 10-11 overall record, 9-11 against the glorified intramual Division III.
b) Eastern Mennonite lost games by scores of 4-0, 8-1, 7-0, 5-1, 7-2, and 4-1 against glorified intramural teams from Division III
c) Eastern Mennonite lost twice to Lynchburg 7-0 and 4-0, a team which is nothing but a "notch above rec league"?

And you're making EXCUSES for why a Division 1 scholarship field hockey team couldn't beat this ever so glorious squad? Is that really the best you got as a comeback to the field hockey loss?

At least when when the other argued over track they brought a reasonable and logical argument, this feeble attempt at a comeback is just a sad, embarrassing joke.

I dont know why I even have to spell this out for you but Im going to anyway.

When you have a team of players that has played together for at least two years going up against a team that has played together for six games, generally Id pick the team that has played together for two years. If you think of that as an excuse then fine, but you're really more making yourself look bad by touting track and field and field hockey as reasons to puff out your chest.

I'm still trying to figure out the 8 national titles....how do you keep track when they get added and then subtracted at a later date? I guess I just need to keep hitting the refresh button on the KY Basketball Wiki page
