• The Flames have now lost three games in a row for the first time since the 2006 season.
We've only played two games so far this season...I guess this person decided we are going to lose to Montana... :?

We lost the last game of last year. One plus two equals three.

I wouldn't be banking on that internship if you're publicly calling out the department on FF. They don't like that.
Oh I got it. I didn't realize they were including last season. Everyone makes mistakes and I own up to them when I do. It's a good thing only two people on FF know who I am.
*Edit: Well maybe more than two...

They had zero passing game. We had zero chance of stopping their run game. We missed Nick Sigmon.

On 3rd and 1 , on our 30something and we bomb it down the sideline? It was no surprise that Gill didnt run it there at the end. AA looked way too good not to give him the ball in those situations.

Students were great. Band was good. Stadium looks amazing. My major complaint with the gameday experience; besides red jacket, This music selection BLOWS.

this touches on something I was thinking about while I was at the hockey game Friday night. We needed to make them one dimensional, which wasnt hard...the problem was, the one dimension they went with was the one they were best at.

You gave a lot of info about yourself wanting that internship. It wouldn't be hard for them to figure out who you are if they haven't already.

I agree. We have the talent to be in the next two games, but just can't see us pulling it out. Sorry. Hopefully we can start picking up wins in the conference schedule and have a chance against Stony Brook to close out the year. I'm just glad we're playing quality opponents this year and getting a getter gauge on how our football program really stacks up against playoff teams...since we've never made it :(

The turning point of the game was on the Norfolk State fake punt. with 4th and 2, NSU split 3 or 4 receivers wide right and 1 wide left. After the delay of game penalty to force 4th and 7 they lined up in a spread formation again. Our defense should have reacted better, starting with calling a time out.

We have a passing game, but our running game is far better! 8)

In all seriousness, looking forward to a hard-fought, physical football game!

Noone will ever admit it, but I think TG being gone all week then coming back at the 11th hour and calling the plays really hurt us last night.
i was crucified on twitter for saying this about TG

We had 1st and goal from the 5.

We threw the ball twice.

With a redshirt freshman QB.

Also - will someone please teach Mike Tilley the names of our players. Josh Woodlum doesn't play for us and he didn't go to Cape Spring High School. He should also know how to pronounce Nicky Fualaau's name. I don't expect perfection but I expect the announcers for the Liberty produced game should know the names of the Liberty plays.
at least he didnt say "springs" like everyone else including our SID staff in the media guides. totally agree on the play calling at the goal line. Pitiful

Crucified? not really. It was me and I actually apologize. Look I had my dad die a while back and stuff like that just affects me in a deep way. You can say what you want, and I was wrong to respond like I did, It just hit me strangely.
I do think his absense affected them somewhat, but I do not fault him at all even if he had missed the game.

Can't say I agree with 2 pass attempts (with a back up QB) on the last series but after rewatching it looked like the 1st throw went threw the hands of Kelly, should have been caught. The last one was a good throw but just good defense. 4th and 1 is not always a given when defense is expecting run. ie. the William & Mary game a couple years back in double OT when couldn't get a yard with Jennings in the backfield.
