Can you remember the contest football had (Karcher) that produced the decent emblem featuring a football ? And that football hijacked the Broncos blue? Now all sports are under the same flag. You don't build tradition by having different emblems and then constantly changing them. It also used to be next to impossible to buy LU stuff anywhere. Now with a enlightened leadership we can find our goodies at Walmart and Walgreens. I for one like the new way. It used to be so frustrating to see xxx and xxxx stuff all over and we were forced to rely on the bookstore. Although vastly improved the Bookstore remains reactive rather than creative. It took an act of congress to get them to get the mini helments. I bet if they took them to the stadium on game day the'd sell lots. This is primarily the work of Marketing Assistant Jamie Keys in the Athletics Department. For the better part of three years now, she has been in charge of all licensing. It has certainly been an uphill process, and at times I'm sure she's felt like a salmon swimming upstream trying to jump start licensing to apparel outlets from a University that never has before, and one whose administration may not have fully understood at first what the benefits of such an arduous process would be. But today, we all sit here and speak of the benefits.

If he was a faculty member or staff member, all I have to say is.
