Add some white pants with a little detail on the side and a blue helmet with the "LU" decal (instead of the hard-to-see fire bird), and we are in business.

Can you remember the contest football had (Karcher) that produced the decent emblem featuring a football ? And that football hijacked the Broncos blue? Now all sports are under the same flag. You don't build tradition by having different emblems and then constantly changing them. It also used to be next to impossible to buy LU stuff anywhere. Now with a enlightened leadership we can find our goodies at Walmart and Walgreens. I for one like the new way. It used to be so frustrating to see xxx and xxxx stuff all over and we were forced to rely on the bookstore. Although vastly improved the Bookstore remains reactive rather than creative. It took an act of congress to get them to get the mini helments. I bet if they took them to the stadium on game day the'd sell lots.Good insight. Especially agree with the last opinion; I am surprised that there isn't a LU merchandise shop on the concourse on game days.

I have purchased quite alot there for my family.#10 wrote:Several years ago the LU merchandising gurus got their act together. Some of the results are standardized colors and the official emblem.
