I realize I make my living on this website by nobody agreeing with me, but with Stony Brook gone, why leave until we get an invite? Beat Coastal and you get the autobid. Why make it difficult?

That's a big assumption. Especially considering we are only dominant in WBB and Olympic sports in our current conference.

Yeah, we have never been to the playoffs in FB, I can understand where that dominate comment would worry someone.

Sadly, the perception our school has will keep some folks from wanting anything to do with us, despite out athletic programs. It would be ideal if we could jump to FBS and be indy like BYU and ND, but unfortunately that can't be.

Liberty is holding the first ever Fan Fest on Aug. 18th the same date that the WAC will announce the new teams in their conference. Does Liberty know something we don't?

Many of you underestimate the disdain the liberal academic world has towards Liberty. I've attended two state schools since graduating from Liberty and the fact that we teach a biblical account of creation is enough in itself for them to disassociate themselves. personally I feel this may be a long road for us.

Mormons tend to be more politically correct than say most Baptists, so they aren't as hated. Even though academia still hates them.

I agree foreverFSU. Liberty cannot compromise to join a conference. Comparing BYU to Liberty is not really a fair comparison. The world doesn't hate any other religion like it does Christianity.

Again, the liberal elite took Liberty to a very high mountain and showed it all the FBS conferences of the NCAA and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
