Presby has a solid football tradition, and a good coach. We have never played well @ Clinton. I fully expect to win, and we should be favored. But it won't be easy.

Honestly, anything less than 9-2 would require us losing to a team less talented than we are. But talent doesn't always win the games. With a new coaching staff, new QB, new WRs, new defensive scheme, etc., it makes sense that we would lose 1 or 2 games which we shouldn't. Especially early on in the season. Put that together with our tough OOC schedule, and it's easy to understand these 6-5 & 7-4 predictions.

Every team on Liberty's non-conference schedule was in the postseason last year. This is easily the Flames' most difficult non-conference slate in my time on the beat.

Rocco Leaving is making more sense by the day. Brennan didnt pan out, Asa Fiasco, Tough schedule, Realignment not being concrete, StonyBrook with powerhouse Big South potential.

+1 to these first two sentences. Even in the early days, the Blue Hose had our number (I think they actually led the overall series going into our game in 07. Yes we have only lost once to them in the last five meetings but our two games in SC have been battles (including the D'oh! game in 2008) so its not so alarming that people are hedging on that game

I wouldnt call Brennan a bust R i. He simply didnt mesh with the current staff which sometimes happens. Yeah he didnt light the world on fire when he got the chance to last year but I wouldnt call him a total waste of a scholarship. As for Stony Brook being a powerhouse...Im still in wait and see mode. They are good but I dont think they are at a point of being far and away better than the rest of the conference much like G-W was early on and then us for a couple years once Rocco settled in

Well WF pulled off an upset against Florida State last year and didn't loose a lot this off season, I don't think we have much of a shot against them. Not to say that I wouldn't love it!
