I am sure you are including me in this...I have given him his credit so far this series just a few posts back but whatever...

Of course the Heat were up 2-1 last year so its way too early to start to gloat.

Lebron has played well this series and is doing all the things great players should do, but that is normally when it all falls apart for him so we'll just wait in see.

I have always said I will believe it when I see it in regards to Lebron winning a championship, but unlike a lot of his critics I think him winning in Miami is actually a better accomplishment then if he would've stuck with Cleveland...Miami is not deep at all and the lack of depth puts a ton more pressure on lebron and wade to pull through....

How was he clutch :dontgetit He missed a bank shot and FT that would have put it away. The Heat do much better running things through Wade. They get more movement and better attacking lanes. When LeBron gets it, everyone stands around watching. Plus it helps when you can throw a ball that hits behind the backboard and get away with it. And shove a defensive player and have a block called. It's why it's called the NBE. Play Basketball
OKC will be kicking themselves when they see how many FTs they missed. This series is really coming down to just a key possession or two. Very entertaining.

Wade had 7 assists and some great drives to the basket. He had one careless TO at the end but was getting alot of pressure. I just don't worship at the altar of James. Deal with it

Apparently you don't watch basketball. Wade was awful tonight, and that backcourt TO was pathetic.

LeBron had eight fourth quarter points, went 2-3 from the floor and made 4-of-5 free throws, along with four rebounds. Six of his eight points were in the final five minutes. The free throw he made with 16 seconds sealed the game, it put the Heat up four and forced the Thunder into a situation where they had to rush their offense to try for a 2-for-1. Of course, the Thunder couldn't even do that much as they turned it over on the inbounds pass. Had LeBron missed both, the Thunder could have opted for a game-tying three at the end of regulation.

Durant, praised mightily for his clutch performances, posted this fourth quarter line: 4 points (2-6 FGs, 0-2 FTS), two fouls, one rebound, one steal. Basically, he pulled a LeBron 2011 Final performance.

And he had five turnovers and shot 8-22. Great drives to the basket don't mean a whole lot if you don't convert or dump it out for an assist.

I don't watch a lot of basketball. Yep you got me.
Durant was awful in the 4th no doubt about it. I thought Harden was a huge disappointment tonite if not in the series. He had a great chance to step up and didn't. Westbrook started strong but didn't keep it up. Again. As poorly as they played in the 4 th the game came down to 1 or 2 possessions. I gotta like that if I'm OKC for the future.
Wade did a great job of running the offense and distributing. I don't care about his percentage from the floor because there is more to it then that. Same goes for LeBron. He does a great job filling up a stat sheet, but is a much better player when he has someone to set him up.

Harden didnt play well.

Harden might have the Raja Bell affect on Lebron. When hes guarding Lebron, its like Lebron goes into Kobe Killer mode. The old adage is a "sleeping giant", I would back off Lebron and let him remain in his comfort passive zone.

On the other hand, Miami led by two points going in to the third. Miami committed NINE fourth quarter turnovers, yet they led by at least two or more points for most of the fourth. Despite Miami doing their best to literally give away the game, only shooting 38% for the game, and the role players being quiet nearly the entire game, OKC still couldn't get the job done.

This is true. Miami did erase OKC 10 pt lead while Durant was on the bench in foul trouble and did try to give the game away. However, that seems to be the MO of the Thunder in the 4th. They seem to get behind then sprint towards the win. Granted that's a blanket statement but I'm just recalling the SA series and the other 2 games in the series. I'm concerned if I'm OKC that I couldn't do what has been successful for me the last series and game 1. IF Durant can keep out of foul trouble ( and I'm thinking David Stern may be sending out a memo :D ) and Osama Bin Harden can get back to his 'Vinnie the Microwave Johnson' OKC will pull out the series. If no, it's over in 5. I'm saying Miami in 6 but if it goes 7 I may like the Thunder. How is THAT for definitive prognostication !

its too hard to figure out what is going on. usually we see a great game out of chalmers...haven't seen that yet. we haven't seen a 80+ performance out of the big 3...we haven't seen durant go bonkers all game yet, and harden has been unseen in the 2nd half. i just can't make heads or tails of the series and what is going to happen from game to game. i almost think we'll see some let up by the heat on tuesday and durant puts up 40+ and blows out the heat. the heat are due for one of those aren't they?

okc plays from behind alot...even during the regular season...that seems to be their MO.

Heres the deal. I do not despise James. I think he is a very good player. My criticism of him is based on the narrative that he is either the best player in the league or of all time. Based on that template, he falls woefully short. Now if you judge him based on the template that he is a good player and all star, the criticism would be more muted.
Case in point, it is virtually impossible to stop him cutting to the basket. He is too strong to bump off his line. He is very good at finishing on the break. He does that he reaches his peak. Put the ball in his hand on the perimeter, and you will see the offense stagnate and defenses force him left or box him in forcing the jumper. I was  to see him drive left all the way to the hole on 1 occasion and finish but that's the exception that proves the rule. If he puts his head down and goes right.....look out. This is why running the offense through Wade makes the most sense and maximizes LeBrons abilities. To go along with his cuts, he is a passable spot up shooter which he showed last nite hitting the baseline 3.....off the pass from Wade.
Objectivity has a lot to do with what you base the object on and compare it to.

lol. the facts look like you pretty much hate the guy...you can throw in all the "i think he's good really i do" but when you say some of the blatantly ridiculous things you've said in this thread, its pretty telling.

edit: oh and let me throw in one of these too.
