Big South at #7 with some interesting comments.

I can not wait for football and especially SBU here on Nov 10. Last year's trip to LI left a nast taste in my mouth and I'll bet the team's as well.

7. Big South - OK, mark it down, Stony Brook will run all over the Big South again this season. Ah, but conference power Liberty, perhaps on its way to a future FBS move under coach Turner Gill, will have the home game when they meet on Nov. 10. It's a two-team race, although Gardner-Webb will be improved this season.

That comment about SBU rolling through the conference has lit a fire in some of our players on twitter. Fan the Flames! It will be interesting to see if we play different or even desperate as the underdog for once.

Actually, the verbatum quote is that SB will "run all over" the BSC. I really think he was referring specifically to their running game, not necessarily that they will dominate in all aspects, because he went on to say it will be a 2 team race and we have them at home.

If it helps motivate your team to focus longer and practice harder... then spin it whatever way works best.

I did a quick bit of research...we scored 45 offensive TDs last year (rushing and passing). 18 of them did not involve Chris Summers or Mike Brown. That's 40 percent of all of our offensive TDs. Spme would say that is a sign of doom for us, I think its a sign that we still have weapons.

Id probably have to go back and watch every single broadcast of all 11 games from last year to get a definitive number of the remaining 27 that were because defenses were primed to stop MB and CS and they scored anyway
