I almost picked up the Blood of Heroes book today while running errands. Instead I picked Private Empire by Steve Coll ... let's just say it is of particular interest to me.

Cain at Gettysburg - Ralph Peters. Takes a while to get going but does a good job looking at the battle from Longstreets eyes. Pretty good, not very flattering of Lee.
Next up either 1631 or the 1st book in Shahaara's new trilogy starting with the battle of Shiloh.
