McConnell was the drop score today (+7), but our last four holes today (6-9), we were only +2 (without the drop score; with it, we were +4). Chad was our big hope today -- he started at -1 and had a real shot at contending for the individual title, but had a rough day.

All in all, a season and tournament to be proud of, and it gives us a little hope for the future.

That's what a Top-10 finish in NCAA Division I looks like, friends. What an amazing performance by the team. To be just one stroke away from match play in the finals is something that even the most koolaid drunkards among us couldn't have predicted.

It gives me more than just a little hope for the future! Of everyone else in the top 10 I bet we're the only team that's golf facility consisted of a trailer and a long yard for a driving range

I bet all of that will be changing shortly (which was already being discussed but this sure helps speed up the process)

And we only graduate 2 players. If we can keep everyone else on the team, we've got a shot to make another run.

Last I had checked before my softball game they were in 4th alone. Very disappointed to see they had fallen to 10th when I got back. But, I am extremely proud of the job they did and how they represented the school. Congratulations to the team and coaches on a super season and post-season. Hope to see some of these guys in the PGA one day!

Best team finish in Liberty athletics history. 10th in the nation. A legitimate top 10 program. No different classifications. Top 10 out of 290 some schools. Congrats to the team!

I think Coach Thomas cemented himself as a potential HoF candidate and cemented his place on the mountain for the foreseeable future with this one

Great performance by this team. The East Regional win and a #10 finish in the Nation alongside such teams as Alabama, UCLA, Stanford, Florida St, Texas, etc.

Did you see how far down the list UVA and VA Tech were?!
