Very interesting note regarding the format/schedule of the remainder of the tournament. Believe most everyone on here, including myself, thought that the teams played a double elimination mini tourney within their pod and the survivors played on Saturday for the NCAA berth. If you look closely, and it was validated by the Big South Commish who was standing there while I was looking at the bracket today, the teams that survive the first two games in their pod actually cross pods for the Friday night games. This is similiar to the SEC format of the past couple of years. The reasoning according to the Commish, was to mix the teams up a little and not have to replay the teams in your pod. What is means for us is that if we win tomorrow night, we go to the top bracket and play the surviving loser. If we lose, which we aren't going to do, we will have to win a game in the loser's bracket and then beat the winning team from the top twice on Friday, which will be either Coastal or Radford.
On a side note, the HP/Campbell game was suspended until 9:30 in the morning. Believe we will still play ours tomorrow night but there is absolutely a chance our game could be played on Thursday with the loser having to play again that day while the winner looks to Friday.
