We lose by 4. Nothing to worry too much about even though Barton is only div 2.

My impressions before bailing--still too perimeter-oriented. Our big guys have to be more agressive on the block on offense. Coach will take care of that in practice. Dec 16 can't arrive fast enough.

For an exhibition game the attendance was good.

The team, however, wasn't.

We don't know how to play defense. They drove on us all night.

We can't rebound.

We missed shots that should've been made.

They had twice as much intensity as us.

And now, for my one thing against Dunton: He should've never put BJ back into that game. The kid twisted his ankle and couldn't walk off the court. He came back out and jogged a little bit and ran in the tunnel, however, with this being "a meaningless exhibition game" there's absolutely no reason to put a player that you're counting on back into the game after twisting their ankle like that.

Oh yeah, the technical foul was horrible. There's no reason he should've been jawing off like he was. I'm ok with trash talking, but that just wasn't called for.

All I can say is thank God it didn't count. After last year's mess all we need right now is a loss to a division 2 team.

It was neither of the people you mentioned and I don't remember which official it was. The kid was jawing off pretty good.

Just my take of the game...

Their defense was good, ours wasn't that great.
We can't get rebounds.
I thought Alex McLean was good.
Tyler Baker should have played more.
BJ definately shouldn't have went back in.
It was good to see Dunton bench Justin Holland after his tech.
Larry was good, and until proven otherwise by Brew or anyone else, it's his team.
Rell had a good play or two,
Anthony seemed to be playing hard but was fouled out.
My freshman year Dunton took us to the dance, the next year we were decent but was upset by CSU in the conference tourney, last year we weren't good but we had the 5th youngest team in the nation and this year there are no excuses for another season like last... but with a loss to a D2 school (and yes I know it doesn't count, but I believe we should never lose to a D2 school)... so, maybe Barber should start looking at some resumes.

i thought the team looked bad. they were down the whole time to a D2 team. i know its one of the best D2's, but still....
i agree, i think barber needs to review some resumes. i don't know anyone who likes dunton, players quit last year because he's a jerk, and he has only had one winning season. time to overhaul the bball team. our only hope is december.

actually the game was 15, when #15 for Barton got hurt. He was owning us all night, and with him back in the game it would have been a double digit loss...

my take on the game...I think our defense was solid we just couldn't reboud the f'ing ball...story of last year too....offense was not so great...once again larry had to do too much.....the tech was uncalled for, the kid wasn't trying to trip him, it was an honest accident and this punk thinks its the end of the world....my biggest problem with Coach D is some of the guys he brings in....there was so much trouble last year not because people quit because he was a jerk, he brought in guys with bad attitudes...he may bring in some talent, but that talent means nothing when you have so many guys on that bench with such bad attitudes.....
