Look at TCU signs up for the BE never plays a game before switching to the B12. No reason we can't do the same on a smaller scale.
Here is my order on FBS conference we should join.
1. Any FBS conference not too far away who will give us an invite.

See my post about national exposure..
jbock13 wrote:If we joined the WAC it would be with some kind of East division. I'd be fine with that. You'd only have 1 or 2 FB games a year on the West coast assuming you play all your division and half of the West. That would be a fair trade to be in a FBS conference. From the class of 09 wrote:Agree. Ultimately, this discussion is useless. If you don't think our administration isn't doing enough to sell themselves then you've had your head stuck in the sand for the past 5 years. They've been letting actions speak for themselves for quite some time now... and now the words will officially come out in support of those actions. There is nothing our Chancellor, or anyone else can really say though to receive an invite. Someone is just going to have to take a chance on us. I mean we've survived against all odds in the past 40 years and now we have turned the corner in a big way. We are an up and coming stock in the NCAA and we just need someone to realize that and send us our invitation![]()
Who cares who it is at that point because that's what would be best for us at that time, right? Or have we become too successful to believe that God still has his hand over this university?

Big East commish steps down. And another bizarre moment in this whole wacky situation.
Humble_Opinion wrote:Well a move up of us, CAA leftovers, and maybe ECU/Marshall - would be the best choice from a financial standpoint. The travel costs would be very minimal compared to a CUSA/Sun Belt/MAC option. While we could afford it, there are other schools that would still struggle to meet the demand, and so they could accomplish their goal of FBS without worrying about the travel costs being as bad. I also think a conference like this would quickly establish itself and attract a large fan base in the states they occupy. I mean think of the potential rivalries that would come from this... the media and fans eat that stuff up...CJ made several posts referencing his dislike of run first QBs, and they were all black, including statues like Jason Campbell. After having it pointed out he conveniently threw in Tim Tebow to the mix. This was all done to state his dislike of RGIII, just "happens" to also be black, as he is apparently also a run first QB despite the 72% completions and over 4k yards passing last season. Somehow, that kind of blatant racism is okay on a Christian message board. That same poster then throws out comments about people being retarded. It's completely inexcusable and it's sad that the same 2-3 posters defend this kind of garbage all the time.
And I'm not sure why you would call Cj a 'retard'. I mean that was one of the most well-written posts i've seen in this thread so far. Not only that but he was responding to someone who referred to him as a 'racist'... for whatever reason that was lol. NAJ must be a democrat. Whenever they get beat they throw out the race/sexist card.

I disagree with almost everything Sweat says but grow up. I'm sure Jesse Jackson will join up here if he spots out true racism, otherwise you need not worry. We already have enough Jesse Jackson's in the world, and you do not contribute much to that realm of conversation
NotAJerry wrote:I referenced three run first QB's who happened to be black, I wasn't even thinking about race. I've mentioned several times on here that I dislike Tebow for being a run-first QB and I did so before the Griffin comments. He's white isn't he? Also, Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay, Colin Cowherd, Adam Schefter and almost anyone else who gets paid for their accuracy on football has said RGIII is a run-first QB that can throw. He runs a 4.3 40 and is excellent at getting into space. He had 179 rushing attempts last year compared to 402 passing attempts. That means he's running around once for every three plays, that's considered a run-first or a balanced QB. He's not a typical NFL pocket QB and he won't be Andrew Luck. It's sad that people like you label people with perspective as racist. I don't agree with a lot of people on this board and a lot of people don't agree with me. However, one thing we have in common is that we respect each other's opinions. I may say that if one thinks that way, they're being foolish or retarded but that is merely a figure of speech. I don't actually think anyone on this board is literally stupid or retarded. Furthermore, of all the message boards to be parading your political correctness around, you're on the most political incorrect message board in the country. Our school has shirts that read, "Politically Incorrect Since 1971." We sell books entitled, "The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History." If you're upset with me making comments about a black QB being a run-first QB, get off this message board and research which school you support. Our school has a philosophy about being politically incorrect, welcome to Liberty.Humble_Opinion wrote:Well a move up of us, CAA leftovers, and maybe ECU/Marshall - would be the best choice from a financial standpoint.
