I bet there aren't ten people on this board who can say without researching where those two other schools are located. But I'm one of them. I've been to Hammond and Crown Point more time than I can count.

Which is probably the reason I considered applying for a job at BJU for about a minute. So, don't laugh at wildcat.

About half the teachers at my high school went to either Hyles-Anderson or Crown. The rest were mostly from BJU, Trinity, Tennessee Temple or Pensacola. The level of Hyles worship that went on when he made his annual visit to our church for a conference was scary.

Theyre taking a stab at college sports which oughta be applauded not derided. I mean I know he's tryin to be funny and all that, but remember, we werent exactly settin the world on fire our first few years offering sports either

After more then about 70 yrs they are taking a stab at college sports, they are breaking their mold of be in the world, not of the world teaching. I wonder if they will have intercollegiate sports for the women at BJU and if men can watch them play.

Must have missed this like laughing boy...
Initially BJU will compete in two sports—men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball. In time, BJU may consider competing in additional sports.
As for if theyll let the men watch...if the unveiling of the mascot event was any indication, that wont be an issue either

I was an RA from 1996-1998 and was required to make sure that the overhead lights were out by Midnight.
