All draft talk here. This is the one day of the year when I officially have no life outside of football. First two picks pretty much known but the rest of this draft promises to be exciting.

Im just hoping the Rams can get Blackmon at 6 and give Alexander (as well as Jackson and Bradford) some help

If Bradford can stay healthy, that would a lethal combo. They're going to need something on offense to get past SF.

If the Rams as a whole can stay healthy they could be dangerous...they went through all 6 depth chart corners last year and a number of other positions because of injuries

Rams trade pick to Dallas. So they were going to get Blackmon.

Interesting amount of trades so far. Many good RB's and WR's left on the board. I'm surprised at how much the defense has dominated this draft. Will make the 2nd round very interesting.

I think the dumbest one was Cleveland trading up for a pick they were already guaranteed.

Not if some other team was trying to work that trade into the spot and take Ingram. Duh

I wonder if Wilson is second guessing his decision to leave early

The Cards are set at WR for awhile.

Well, they took Richardson for one. Two, if you trade up you pay more and most teams weren't looking at an RB. I agree that trading up to prevent another team from grabbing your guy can be a good move but I just don't think it was here. Especially since they gave up three picks for it. It may not be a big deal since RIchardson will likely be a great RB but I would have a hard time giving up that many picks to trade up one spot for an RB you're practically guaranteed to get. Wilson ought to be, I don't think he's going until late 2nd round at best now.

A.J. Jenkins was just chosen. I don't understand how he's better than Jeffrey or Hill.

As a Bengals fan I love the Kirkpatrick pick, but I don't get how you pass out of drafting Decastro and take Kevin Zeitler?? Oh well, hoping for a receiver tomorrow. WHO DEY!?

Wilson went first round, and Seattle and Saint Louis were trying to trade up to three to get Trent. The browns werent that dumb, they gave up very little.

Keep your draft commentary coming......

Will take the RB but was hoping for a TE or something on the O-Line... Besides, we may need the RB sooner than we think!!

As a Redskins fan, I'm dissappointed in what the Cowboys were able to do.

I thought the Patriots got two amazing players to fill huge needs. It's crazy that Courtney Upshaw is still available, I think he's a stud.

Will be interesting to see what Denver does today and tomorrow. They traded out of the first round to pick up some additional picks today and tomorrow. If they could grab Stephen Hill, that would be an awesome couple of young receivers for Manning to work with. They also need a DT though...

Even Mel Kiper was surprised that Wilson was drafted by NY. Also, it's not necessarily the fact that Cleveland traded up to get Richardson, it's the fact they gave up three picks to move up one for a RB. I understand if it's for a QB or WR but it was for a RB. I understand two picks for a RB but it was three. I just think it was way too much. Especially since if Richardson was drafted, they could have taken Blackmon who I think would have been a much better pick.

I feel like you're missing the point. In a close market, yes, most agree what they gave up was of greater value than what they received. But in the open market of the NFL, where multiple entities may make bids to another for a commodity, value is equal to what another is WILLING to pay. That other entities were also bidding for the same spot drove the value up.

Speaking of Seattle, what in the world is up with drafting Bruce Irvin at 15?!

I think most had him as the top pass rusher, and the reason he was 3rd round was his character.
Pete dont care about character.

You bring up a good point but I think you're missing what I'm saying. You're actual point makes complete sense but not for Cleveland. The value of Minnesota's pick was very high and if TB wants to give away three picks for Richardson, that's one thing. My questioning is why Cleveland specifically did it. Even if Richardson is a little bit of a better fit, I don't see how you justify giving away three picks for him when you could take Blackmon. It's even more crazy because Cleveland drafted Wheeden later and is looking to get rid of McCoy. They were the only team that was going to take Wheeden in the first so I'm assuming they had been planning that for a while. If they knew they were taking him, why not just let TB and whoever else fight for Minnesota's pick and take one of Wheeden's college teammates? I'm just baffled at how Richardson is worth three picks to Cleveland. St. Louis, TB, Seattle...etc, I get it, just not with Cleveland.
