Stoled as a verb is only used in Morgantown (and certain parts of backwoods Kentucky). :nono
Sort of like, "He done stoled the truck?" Anyways, thank you Cider!
Actually 'stolt' is singular. 'He done stolt ( or stloted) my gin still'
'We'in done stold ( or stolded) the Sheriffs hub caps'

For all you guys that think Toman is great; you better wake up; because there are a lot more losses coming. He doesn't have a clue!! Liberty(31-12 9-5) UNCA(19-21 8-9) Two more losses to another team with a losing record.
Now you see why he should not have used Niggli against UNC; we had other pitchers that could have gotten it done, and Niggli was shaky in that game. You don't mess with the weekend starters; as they are superstitious and like to keep their daily routines. Liberty needed to win this series; but more than likely will lose all three. Way to many strikeouts today; how many does one player get before you realize this guy doesn't have it today and make a change. He's clueless.
I think the players need to choke the coach(A little role reversal since that was kept all hush hush), because he is killing this team.
Finally glad to see that your true identity is you hate Toman and are not a Liberty fan. The Niggli move was a good one, and though shaky he pulled through.Toman made the move because we really needed that win and is the ace of the staff, and he also pitched pretty darn well saturday and we ran up against a pitcher who had it all going. Yes im very disappointed we lost the UNCA series, but glad we came off the mat to get the win today. Trot, you should take your tired act and go away for good. A true Liberty fan is around for both wins and losses and you are not. Its ok if you hate the coach. we have many fans who do not like the coaches in many of our sports but do give credit when it's due. Im guessing Toman has hurt you personally so you want to attack him, but his reputation at state and carolina is pretty good.

+1 It is really amazing how many haters of coaches and AD post on this site. It's one thing to voice an opinion and it's another thing to think you know better than an experienced coach with a winning background. If you are an LU fan I would expect some voicing of frustration but to continually voice the termination of coaches and AD is getting pretty old. This is LU not Kentucky (basketball), LSU (football), Connecticut (women's bb), South Carolina (baseball), etc. I guess volleyball or soccer are not held to the same standard since no one ever wants to fire those coaches.

Here are a few quotes from one of the smartest coaches of all-time of any sport...Mr. John Wooden

A coach is someone who can give correction without causing resentment.

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability.

Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.

I'd rather have a lot of talent and a little experience than a lot of experience and a little talent.

It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Material possessions, winning scores, and great reputations are meaningless in the eyes of the Lord, because He knows what we really are and that is all that matters.

Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.

These are just a few of so many. This man truly had a great mind. But the quote I like that I do not remember who said it is..."Players win games, coaches lose them." Any "good" coach will tell you this anytime.

you know Trot, offering congratulations once in a while (instead of harboring the level of bitterness and hatred that you do) might add a few years to your life. Did Toman run over your dog while speeding off with your girlfriend in your car?

Good bounceback performance for the guys today. Lesser teams probably would pack it in after a pair of tough losses like we had this weekend, but we did well to come out and get a blowout win. I forgot we had the JMU game coming up, this would be a good way to get some momentum going into the series Im sure we had marked on the calendar from the day the schedule came out.

Players win games...coaches lose them? :BS That is true if you are a fan but I don't know any coach who buys into this.
I can make up a lot of quotes too. I can even take quotes out of context too.
