Hopefully you can link to this. This is from retired Major Christopher Miller, USMC. He's a friend, a mentor, and an elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. This is what the majority of the military thinks, as evidenced by Ron Paul receiving more donations from the military than all the other candidates combined. Maybe we should trust the opinion of the people who are being put in these horrible situations by the pieces of worthless filth like Bush, Obama and Romney who have never had to deal with the reality of their decisions. It's no surprise that the ONLY candidate that wants to stop the endless war and disgusting murder is the ONLY candidate who did actual military service.

Do you have any source citations to your claim about the military and it's financial support? Also, why do you insist on calling all of our Presidents filth? They each have admirable qualities that can be emulated. Bush overcame alcohol and drug problem Obama is a very good father. Policy wise you may differ but it doesn't make them filth.

There are dozens of sources that show that Dr. Paul is bringing in more money than any other GOP candidate from the military. It's not even remotely close.

Those are 2 of the first ones that pop up in a simple search.

As far as calling warmongering, murderous pieces of trash what they are, it's an accurate description. Corporately owned slaves like W and Obama have no scruples at all and are willing to send our armed forces into any situation their owners tell them to. Romney is no different than Obama and is likely much worse.

And did you even bother watching the video of someone who has been in combat situations on multiple occasions, or did you just decide to argue without bothering to see an example of what those who are being treated like pawns really think of the trash that is sending them into harms way?

They are filth, because I don't like them. And the only one I like is Ron Paul  (sarcasm)

But thanks for making my point about Paul supporters. Calling people "filth" really helped to change my mind, and everyone else's.

thats not making your point at all...non paul supporters do the same crap.

I do wonder why the voice of the military is often ignored by the same people that claim to support us.

I wasn't trying to argue the point of military giving, nice way to be defensive over a simple questionI.had heard that from other places and I heard that those statements are also not accurate but never saw a source one way or the other. The only source I found actually showed Obama had garnered the most financial support frOm the Military but that was a month or two ago. What I was looking for is a tracking type source other then what I had already seen.
Either way I can't say I'm suprised. Anecdotally, active military have strong opinions but tend to stay out of politics. At the end of the day they have to obey orders from the commander and chief whether they voted for him or not. For those who are going to give, a Ron Paul supporter would be the perfect archetype. There are fierce independent streaks that run in a lot of soldiers and sailors. What better candidate to support then the one labeled fiercely independent ?

I agree with JBock, and am glad that your candidate doesn't speak with the language and tone used by most of his supporters on this board.

POSTY I'm a 'non Paul supporter" but have never denigrated him.

The great thing about calling for 'change' is that 'change' means different things to different people. Look at how President Obama got elected, he promised change. IMO, most people took that too mean change the downward trend of the housing market and economy that was tanking at that time. Many of them are no saying 'Oops".

Soldiers have opinions just like civilians. And like civilians, many of them are wrong. NotAJerry, your language in several threads is painting you an extremist with no level-headedness.
