Here is the place for all other LU sponsored sports. Come here to post about: Men's/Women's Cross Country, Men's Golf, Men's/Women's Soccer, Men's/Women's Tennis, Men's/Women's Track & Field, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Swimming & Dive, Women's Volleyball
What no talk on here about the tourney? You guys had a great first day yesterday at -8 and a 5 shot lead. CCU is off to a hot start in day 2 and has a 1 shot lead, but lots of holes to go.
I wish CCU had someone there like you guys do to tweet updates more than GolfStat.com refreshes their page (every 3 holes).
Good to see there is now contention for the title other than Coastal for once (I know you probably disagree). However, LU golf has managed at-larges in the past. It would be nice for the Big South to get into a position of being a multi-bid league in this sport (and others) annually.
Yeah, we'll get an at-large if we lose, but it would still be nice to have multiple teams as a lock for the NCAAs regardless of tourney outcome. Then again, in a few years it probably won't matter to us what's happening in the Big South.
Liberty leads by 9 on the 16th hole, Robert Karlsson leads the individual standings on the course (a player from CSU leads in the clubhouse at 8-under)
Liberty Class of 2009
2007 AND 2008 Big South Football Champions
2014 FCS Playoff Qualifier
Liberty wins the 2012 Big South Championship at -20. Robert Karlsson defends his individual title with a -10 206. He shot one of only three rounds under par on the day and the only player to shoot all three rounds under par for the tournament
