For the record, I did do what the above poster said for me to do.
Well then, that means 1 of two things:

1) As good as they are, they werent good enough to supplant the guys that we eventually signed
2) They didnt fit the philosophy of the coaching staff

Noticed a number of other DI schools passed on them as well. Interesting.

Oh boy, what have we done!!! - I'm sure they were good, after all Concord came calling... man - if we could just get some Bridgewater players to come to Liberty we would all set.
I was suprised we didn't see frogs falling from the sky. Thankfully it was just snow! It could have been the end of the world!

Its poor recruiting because they didnt sign his "boys". If they had signed them he would have lauded their ability to get top notch players on such short notice

Fitting into a system is more important than being great...Its like saying you are the best option quarterback in the world but we play a pro style offense...it doesnt make sense to recruit a guy that doesnt play in your schemes..

How come we dont have all that many early games anymore... as in 1 PM starts? I know that the St Francis game a couple years ago was a 12 noon start but for the most part, home games are 3:30 or 7PM kickoff times

I think the common thought is, games under the lights are exciting. I personally hate 7pm games because my kids love to go to games but are too young to be out that late.

I know...my point was more toward the fact that we dont have any 1 PM home games this year and havent had all that many early starts the last few years

well the Montana game could be a 1230 game if the 330 time listed is EST. If it is 330 MST then we are back to a 630 start time EST.

With only 2 night games it saves me some hotel expense. Just can't drive home after the 7PM games. By the time they are over and we feed the boys it is close to 11 and I am not driving home through the cow (and deer) pastures to get home at 2AM

Because it's still summer in September and HOT in the day! The afternoon games are mostly in the fall (Oct/Nov) when it's a lot cooler!

It's a 1:30 Mountain time start.

Mountain time is always two hours.

Arizona is on Mountain time but doesn't do Daylight Savings time, so for half of the year, Arizona is two hours behind and the other half three hours behind. It was quite confusing to my family back this way when I lived out there.

It gives more of a chance for your people coming out of town to get here. I don't know if that plays a factor - but it helps.
