$7300 for a 2004 Jeep w/ 125k miles? I think you're overestimating the resale value of that audio system. A good place to find a rough estimate of what your car is worth is Edmunds. Also, remember that you'll likely get something near the amount quoted for private party sales not dealer retail.

Mine's 2wd but I can activate 4WD as needed (its next to my e-brake so I have to be careful when I use it)

AKA 4WD or 4x4. You're thinking of AWD.

Oh ok. I was wondering if kick 49's Grand Cherokee could do that as well (4x4 not AWD)

thus making your vehicle a 4wd vehicle.

Price is obviously negotiable. But before you put an input of how much my jeep is valued, you would need to see it in person. I put it on here for sale purposes, not recommendations on how much I should sell it for. If you look up other jeeps of this year over multiple websites, they are selling them for well over my asking price, and they aren't even close to as clean as mine and have more miles! Plus I am believer that if your car is in better shape than a retail dealer is selling, why should it be significantly lower in price? Dealers charge you all these stupid fees on top of the asking price, or you can just bypass all of those with a private owner! If your not interested, then why comment? Thanks

I had a truck for sale on craigslist recently and I got tons of emails giving me grief about how high I had it priced. If it's too high for you, why are you emailing me? Just don't buy it.

LU CONN- exactly! plus i even put negotiable, so i am willing to talk about it because I want to sell it!

KBB has my car as priced, even as a private party at $7,000 (including mileage)

for the most part its their way of beginning negotiations.

i treat craigslist like pawn stars. oh you want 200 bucks for that? i'll give you 50. if they tell me to pound sand, i'll go 75. if they get ticked i'll tell them to email me when they are ready to let it go for 100. i bought a new gas auger that hadn't been used for 150. guy wanted 300 for it. i offered 100. he was like "don't email me again" i told him 150 and i would buy it sight unseen and to call me when he was ready to part with it (his problem was that he said in his ad, he was moving and had to move this stuff fast)...

i don't mind that price, you have to shoot high because there is at times some guy who wants it and is willing to pay. you can never get what you want for it, if you don't initially ask for that much. i've always been a big fan of the cherokee and 125k miles is nothing on their drive train.

Has Flamefans turned into Craigslist? Sheesh.

KBB and what-not are good starting points if you have no idea what to price a car at, but when you're selling it's about what the value is to the buyer. I'll buy what I think a car is worth to me, not some web-service. Same with selling. I know what I think it's worth and what I want. If I don't get any bites, then the price goes down. The used car market is so subjective, there's no real standard, no matter how much KBB-like services would like you to believe.

I don't know if I would say a vehicle with 125k miles on it is in better shape.

on my way to work i drive down a road that has 12 used car lots within a 1.2 mile stretch. all of them have the "habla espanol" signs. all these vehicles are high mileage and ALL of them are about 2-3k overpriced.
