Anybody else have trouble with ESPN3 tonight? Locked up both Chrome and Opera when I was trying to watch there. Ended up watching on Liberty Channel.

Well there is only one person to blame for that and only one person who can fix it!

They were feeling pretty pompous when we were 0-6 in conf. Not so much now.

Haven't been around a lot0, but I see a lot of what I would call big wins, including this one. Considering what could have been, the season hasn't been bad, and with a good tournament, could be very good. I say, "good job" all things considered.

We're winners of 8 of our last 11 in conference

This is certainly the best time of year to be heating up. Maybe we can go on a bit of a run in the tournament. I'm guessing there wasn't a whole lot of game prep going on for Morgan State.

The flames are playing well, actually they r playing great.... Minaya is different player in the Vines. Wow. A 5th year guy and player of year in Sanders... Obviously talent has been there... Joel and Burrus with big games...

Like I said in RPI thread... They have a good front line despite injuries to JB and Sommy..

Fine win, guys. LU is the hottest team in the Conference in February.

I hope VMI's good fortune at home has one more game in them. LU gets a pretty ticked off Campbell squad on Saturday. I hope our team devours the game tape from your win tonite........

Of course, both of us are rooting for UNCA on Saturday as well. Play Basketball

No mention of the halftime talent--the smart kids at center court in their red LU Quiz Bowl shirts?

Big win tonight. I attribute it to GREAT COACHING. Huge hire by JB. :clapping

Great win tonight. A lot of students showed up and it was a great game. Back on SC top ten for the second time in two weeks. The bball team is slowly becoming watchable. Can't wait for the Big South tourney.

I have no problem being a realist. That is a good home win. We are playing much better. Coastal has lost 5 of last 6 including some home conference games so their ship is sailing on rocky waters. My gripe all along is "WE SHOULD BE WINNING IN THE BSC!" We have twice the budget, more promotional tools and a facility. Welcome back from life support and congratulations to the team.

For the record I have been here since the we played in Schilling Center and will be here after JB is long gone. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of Liberty's development. Was a regular at Tuesday Flames Club for years. The hypocrisy of some of the posters is hilarious. But we live in an image driven world where politics and money easily dismiss principles. We will blast off some innuendos to tarnish one and throw up a shield in defense of defenseless actions that truly tarnish the University.

Sometimes I like to poke the bear! :beatinghorse

Seriously, the quote in today's paper may be the best quote of the year and should become somebody's signature:
“I wanted them to know I was there, and that they weren’t going to come in here and punk us like they have in the past,” said Vander Pol, who finished with 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks. “Pack and McLaurin are both strong, good players. I wanted to let them know that ‘Twan and I weren’t going to take it easy on them tonight.” ...

“It just came down to that we weren’t physical enough,” said Coastal guard Kierre Greenwood, who led the Chants with 16 points. “They brought it to us, and we didn’t respond.”

You just can't do it can you? You are so bitter down to the core you can't even offer congratulations without the bile that possess your soul to seep out. You are so intent upon destruction you are completely incapable of noticing positive signs around you. It is obvious to all but a few that you find self worth in your opinions only by attempting to bring people down to your level. What you fail to realize is that we are capable of rising above the mud and move past that which may or may not have been done in the past. So with props to Kurt,Lars and the boys, I find this fits you just perfectly and even gives you a new name:

Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name

Where's your crown, King Nothing?
