Been following baseball through this tourney and I cannot wait to come up for a series soon. Was meandering around Warren Nolan out of curiosity from our first 4 games and here's what I found:

Liberty is:
#1 in the country in the NPI
#5 in RPI
#16 in Strength of Schedule
+7.8 in run margin which is good for #12 in the country
10.8 in runs per game which is #8 in the country
Only one other team is 4-0 in the country right now.

Take these with a very large helping of salt as it is only 4 games into the season but I thought this was pretty awesome.

Tulane. with all 4 of their wins over RPI #224 Siena. Statistically we are one of the best teams in the country through 4 games.

Another fun fact we are 2-0 over top 50 RPI teams (Towson) and 2-0 over top 100 (richmond #68/ Cit #62)

We have Siena coming for 4 this weekend right. Radford game might get cancelled with all this snow. I think the Richmond and Citadel wins will be solid wins. Towson is going to be 2 more of those games we just had to win or it actually hurts. Towson made like 7 or 8 errors against us in 2 games and I think they made like 12 for the tournament or something. That's not a very good squad. The Citadel could actually turn out to be a very good win.

The way the team is playing I'm sure they'll be out their (with the coaches) shoveling the snow away if they have to, to get back at it. I'm sure it will be melted by Tuesday. This is a great start for us considering the turnover we had from last season.

Love the start, it looks like we replaced the talent lost in the draft. Hopefully this is the year we see it payoff in the postseason.

I know some have been critical of the game management but you got to love the talent.

Radford game was moved to Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Understandable. youd have quite a bit of standing water once the snow finishes melting and Im sure thatd take quite a bit of time to get off the field and then get it ready for the game. Having the Highs only a couple hours up the road makes it an easier decision to postpone Id guess

right now we are crushing the rest of the conf. Esp HITS and runs scored.

on another point, PC and WU are looking horrible. I dont feel bad about either but, man.

But its early so I have both fingers crossed as I sit here.
