Hurt only won by 4-6 percent. If Goode gets 4-6 points, the Democrat wins.

Thing is though that youre not hearing people calling for Hurt's job so I wouldnt expect him to get swept up in anything (is his seat even up this year?)

edit: Never mind I'm an idiot. I read the story wrong, I thought he was running for the 6th district, NOT the presidency. My apologies.

JBock, Virgil is running for President. That has nothing to do with Commie Tommy.

Sorry I missed that post. Feel free to make that one your own. I hope we never see him in office representing our district again.

As for Virgil, I know there's no chance, but wouldn't you love to hear him deliver a state of the union address in his drawl? Hilarious  I actually liked him for the most part.

President Obama wants to reduce our nuclear forces by 80% which is roughly 300 warheads. That is fewer then Russia and China. Soon to be fewer then India. Not sure about Pakistan. Add to that Iran is building them just adds another reason on my list why Obama must go.
I would like to hear what Paul has to say about it in light of his foreign policy. And on an unrelated note there was a nice article about the good relationship between Willard and the good Doctor.

Stupid idea by Obama. Although i'm a non-interventionist, you don't just throw away missiles. You keep them so other countries know you are not to be messed with.

I don't know the details here, but I remember reading at one point Russia and the US had enough nukes to blow the world up 7+ times (literally like no more earth). To me thats a bit excessive. I don't know where that number stands today but if the US has enough nukes to blow the world up once to me that seems like enough. I'd rather Russia take over then blow up the entire world. But that's just me.

But what if some of the forces were neutralized? The red herring here is the whole'how many times we can blow up the earth'. The reason to have so many is to say to others. No matter how many you takeout we will STILL have enough left over to wipe you out. When you reduce that number you reduce that deterrent

I thought Mitt had a good debate and was very forceful. I like the way he laid out how he'd break government programs into 3 categories.
I think the influence of Ron Paul on this primary is being overlooked. I do not recall any previous Republican primaries emphasizing State rights so much. He is doing exactly what he wants done and that is influencing the debate. He is making them talk about and take position that are much closer to his line of thinking. I think it is a good thing. And a good thing they AREN'T moving closer to his position on foreign policy.
Newt seems to have cemented his role as 'real interesting guy". Maybe he will get his own syndicated talk show and challenge Rush and Hannity in those time slots.
I do not see how in the world people can think Rick Santorum is a good choice. He got his patooty handed to him. He seemed very defensive and nervous all nite.
I was not able to watch the debate, but listened to it on Satellite Radio. Did Newt and Rick have ash on their fore heads?

I think states rights is the wrong way to look at it. It's in reality federalism, which is in the constitution!

I used to do the same thing, but only individuals have rights.
